| 22 | Cumque castra movissent de Cades, venerunt in montem Hor, qui est in finibus terræ Edom: |
And whanne thei hadden moued tentis fro Cades, thei camen in to the hil of Hor, which is in the endis of the lond of Edom; |

where the Lord spak to Moyses and seide, Aaron go to his puples; |

| 24 | Pergat, inquit, Aaron ad populos suos: non enim intrabit terram, quam dedi filiis Israël, eo quod incredulus fuerit ori meo, ad aquas contradictionis. |
for he schal not entre in to the lond which Y yaf to the sones of Israel, for he was vnbileueful to my mouth, at the watris of ayenseiyng. |
Let Aaron, saith he, go to his people: for he shall not go into the land which I have given the children of Israel, because he was incredulous to my words, at the waters of contradiction. | |
| 25 | Tolle Aaron et filium ejus cum eo, et duces eos in montem Hor. |
Take thou Aaron, and his sone with hym, and thou schalt lede hem in to the hil of Hor; |
Take Aaron and his son with him, and bring them up into mount Hor: | |
| 26 | Cumque nudaveris patrem veste sua, indues ea Eleazarum filium ejus: Aaron colligetur, et morietur ibi. |
and whanne thou hast maad nakid the fadir of his cloth, thou schalt clothe with it Eleazar, his sone, and Aaron schal be gederid, and schal die there. |
And when thou hast stripped the father of his vesture, thou shalt vest therewith Eleazar his son: Aaron shall be gathered to his people, and die there. | |
| 27 | Fecit Moyses ut præceperat Dominus: et ascenderunt in montem Hor coram omni multitudine. |
Moises dide as the Lord comaundide; and thei stieden in to the hil of Hor, bifor al the multitude. |
Moses did as the Lord had commanded: and they went up into mount Hor before all the multitude. | |
| 28 | Cumque Aaron spoliasset vestibus suis, induit eis Eleazarum filium ejus. |
And whanne he hadde maad nakid Aaron of hise clothis, he clothide with tho Eleazar, his sone. |
And when he had stripped Aaron of his vestments, he vested Eleazar his son with them. | |
| 29 | Illo mortuo in montis supercilio, descendit cum Eleazaro. |
Sotheli whanne Aaron was deed in the cop of the hil, Moises cam doun with Eleazar. |
And Aaron being dead in the top of the mountain, he came down with Eleazar. | |
