tinctis vestibus de Bosra?
iste formosus in stola sua,
gradiens in multitudine fortitudinis su??
Ego qui loquor justitiam,

the LORD's victory over the nations. Is.63.1-6
2Quare ergo rubrum est indumentum tuum,
et vestimenta tua sicut calcantium in torculari?

3Torcular calcavi solus,
et de gentibus non est vir mecum;
calcavi eos in furore meo,
et conculcavi eos in ira mea:
et aspersus est sanguis eorum super vestimenta mea,

4Dies enim ultionis in corde meo;
annus redemptionis me? venit.

5Circumspexi, et non erat auxiliator;
qu?sivi, et non fuit qui adjuvaret:

6Et conculcavi populos in furore meo,
et inebriavi eos in indignatione mea,
et detraxi in terram virtutem eorum.

Notes:

For the Bible in Latin, I have used the Vulgate text at the Clementine Vulgate Project website.
The only English translations from the Vulgate that are readily available are John Wycliffe's 14th century English Bible, and the the Douay Rheims/Challoner versions.
I have used the Wycliffe Bible text from the Wesley Centre website, where you can view this Bible in a number of formats.
I have used the Douay Rheims Text at the Unbound Bible website.
You can view the Douay Rheims Bible in a more readable format at DRBO.ORG website.

Passage headings are generally as printed in the Bible Society's "Good News Bible", 1976.
