14Afterwards while the Eleven were at table he appeared to them and reproached them for their incredulity and dullness, because they had not believed those who had seen him risen from the dead.The Commissioning of the Disciples Mk.16.14-18 (Jerusalem) | Mt.28.16-20 | Lk.24.36-49 | Jn.20.19-23 | Ac.1.6-8Ὕστερον δὲ ἀνακειμένοις αὐτοῖς τοῖς ἑνδεκα ἐφανερώθη, καὶ ὠνείδισεν τὴν ἀπιστίαν αὐτῶν καὶ σκληροκαρδίαν ὅτι τοῖς θεασαμένοις αὐτὸν ἐγηγερμένον οὐκ ἐπίστευσαν.
15Then he said to them: 'Go forth to every part of the world, and proclaim the Good News to the whole creation. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Πορευθέντες εἰς τὸν κόσμον ἀπαντα κηρύξατε τὸ εὐαγγέλιον πάσῃ τῇ κτίσει.
16Those who believe it and receive baptism will find salvation; those who do not believe will be condemned.  ὁ πιστεύσας καὶ βαπτισθεὶς σωθήσεται, ὁ δὲ ἀπιστήσας κατακριθήσεται.
17Faith will bring with it these miracles: believers will cast out devils in my name and speak in strange tongues;  σημεῖα δὲ τοῖς πιστεύσασιν ταῦτα παρακολουθήσει· ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου δαιμόνια ἐκβαλοῦσιν, γλώσσαις λαλήσουσιν καιναῖς,
18if they handle snakes or drink any deadly poison, they will come to no harm; and the sick on whom they lay their hands will recover.'
 καὶ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν ὀφεις ἀροῦσιν, κἂν θανάσιμόν τι πίωσιν οὐ μὴ αὐτοὺς βλάψῃ, ἐπὶ ἀρρώστους χεῖρας ἐπιθήσουσιν καὶ καλῶς ἑξουσιν.
