26 New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

31Then Jesus said to them, Tonight you will all fall from your faith on my account; for it stands written: "I will strike the shepherd down and the sheep of his flock will be scattered."Peter's Denial Foretold Mt.26.31-35 (Jerusalem) | Mk.14.27-31 | Lk.22.31-34 | Jn.13.36-38Τότε λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Πάντες ὑμεῖς σκανδαλισθήσεσθε ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ταύτῃ, γέγραπται γάρ,

32But after I am raised again, I will go on before you into Galilee.'
33Peter replied, 'Everyone else may fall away on your account, but I never will.'
34Jesus said to him, 'I tell you, tonight before the cock crows you will disown me three times.'
35Peter said, 'Even if I must die with you, I will never disown you.' And all the disciples said the same.
