4"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
 μακάριοι οἱ πενθοῦντες,
ὁτι αὐτοὶ παρακληθήσονται.
5"Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
 μακάριοι οἱ πραεῖς,
ὁτι αὐτοὶ κληρονομήσουσιν τὴν γῆν.
6"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
 μακάριοι οἱ πεινῶντες καὶ διψῶντες τὴν δικαιοσύνην,
ὁτι αὐτοὶ χορτασθήσονται.
7"Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

10"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 μακάριοι οἱ δεδιωγμένοι ἑνεκεν δικαιοσύνης,
ὁτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.
11"Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. μακάριοί ἐστε ὁταν ὀνειδίσωσιν ὑμᾶς καὶ διώξωσιν καὶ εἰπωσιν πᾶν πονηρὸν καθ' ὑμῶν ψευδόμενοι ἑνεκεν ἐμοῦ·
