| 2 | On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that contributions need not be made when I come. | κατὰ μίαν σαββάτου ἑκαστος ὑμῶν παρ' ἑαυτῷ τιθέτω θησαυρίζων ὁ τι ἐὰν εὐοδῶται, ἵνα μὴ ὁταν ἐλθω τότε λογεῖαι γίνωνται. | ||

| 11 | So let no one despise him. Speed him on his way in peace, that he may return to me; for I am expecting him with the brethren. | μή τις οὖν αὐτὸν ἐξουθενήσῃ. προπέμψατε δὲ αὐτὸν ἐν εἰρήνῃ, ἵνα ἐλθῃ πρός με, ἐκδέχομαι γὰρ αὐτὸν μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν. | ||
| 12 | As for our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to visit you with the other brethren, but it was not at all his will to come now. | 16 | I urge you to be subject to such men and to every fellow worker and labourer. | ἵνα καὶ ὑμεῖς ὑποτάσσησθε τοῖς τοιούτοις καὶ παντὶ τῷ συνεργοῦντι καὶ κοπιῶντι. | ||
| 17 | I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have made up for your absence; | χαίρω δὲ ἐπὶ τῇ παρουσίᾳ Στεφανᾶ καὶ Φορτουνάτου καὶ Ἀχαϊκοῦ, ὅτι τὸ ὑμέτερον ὑστέρημα οὗτοι ἀνεπλήρωσαν, | ||
| 18 | for they refreshed my spirit as well as yours. Give recognition to such men. | ἀνέπαυσαν γὰρ τὸ ἐμὸν Πνεῦμα καὶ τὸ ὑμῶν. ἐπιγινώσκετε οὖν τοὺς τοιούτους. | ||
