| 11 | And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it, and stay with him until you depart. | εἰς ἣν δ' ἂν πόλιν ἢ κώμην εἰσέλθητε, ἐξετάσατε τίς ἐν αὐτῇ ἀξιός ἐστιν· κἀκεῖ μείνατε ἑως ἂν ἐξέλθητε. | ||

| 13 | And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. | καὶ ἐὰν μὲν ᾖ ἡ οἰκία ἀξία, ἐλθάτω ἡ εἰρήνη ὑμῶν ἐπ' αὐτήν· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ᾖ ἀξία, ἡ εἰρήνη ὑμῶν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐπιστραφήτω. | ||
| 14 | And if any one will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town. | καὶ ὃς ἂν μὴ δέξηται ὑμᾶς μηδὲ ἀκούσῃ τοὺς λόγους ὑμῶν, ἐξερχόμενοι ἐξω τῆς οἰκίας ἢ τῆς πόλεως ἐκείνης ἐκτινάξατε τὸν κονιορτὸν τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν. | ||
| 15 | Truly, I say to you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomor'rah than for that town. | ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀνεκτότερον ἐσται γῇ Σοδόμων καὶ Γομόρρων ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κρίσεως ἢ τῇ πόλει ἐκείνῃ. | ||

| 19 | When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour; | ὁταν δὲ παραδῶσιν ὑμᾶς, μὴ μεριμνήσητε πῶς ἢ τί λαλήσητε· δοθήσεται γὰρ ὑμῖν ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ὡρᾳ τί λαλήσητε· | ||
| 20 | for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. | οὐ γὰρ ὑμεῖς ἐστε οἱ λαλοῦντες ἀλλὰ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ πατρὸς ὑμῶν τὸ λαλοῦν ἐν ὑμῖν. | ||
| 21 | Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death; | παραδώσει δὲ ἀδελφὸς ἀδελφὸν εἰς θάνατον καὶ πατὴρ τέκνον, καὶ ἐπαναστήσονται τέκνα ἐπὶ γονεῖς καὶ θανατώσουσιν αὐτούς. | ||
| 22 | and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. | καὶ ἐσεσθε μισούμενοι ὑπὸ πάντων διὰ τὸ ὀνομά μου· ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται. | ||

| 24 | "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master; | Οὐκ ἐστιν μαθητὴς ὑπὲρ τὸν διδάσκαλον οὐδὲ δοῦλος ὑπὲρ τὸν κύριον αὐτοῦ. | ||
| 25 | it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master.
