| 1 | Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ δεύτερος κλῆρος τῶν υἱῶν Συμεων, καὶ ἐγενήθη ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἀνὰ μέσον κλήρων υἱῶν Ιουδα. |
And the second lot came out for the children of Symeon; and their inheritance was in the midst of the lots of the children of Juda. | | The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of Simeon, according to its families; and its inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the tribe of Judah. | וַיֵּצֵא הַגֹּורָל הַשֵּׁנִי לְשִׁמְעֹון לְמַטֵּה בְנֵי־שִׁמְעֹון לְמִשְׁפְּחֹותָם וַיְהִי נַחֲלָתָם בְּתֹוךְ נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־יְהוּדָה׃ |

And their lot was Beersabee, and Samaa, and Caladam, | | And it had for its inheritance Beer-sheba, Sheba, Mola'dah, | וַיְהִי לָהֶם בְּנַחֲלָתָם בְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע וְשֶׁבַע וּמֹולָדָה׃ |

and Sikelac, and Baethmachereb, and Sarsusin, | | Ziklag, Beth-mar'caboth, Ha'zar-su'sah, | וְצִקְלַג וּבֵית־הַמַּרְכָּבֹות וַחֲצַר סוּסָה׃ |

| 6 | καὶ Βαιθλαβαθ καὶ οἱ ἀγροὶ αὐτῶν, πόλεις δέκα τρεῖς καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· |
and Batharoth, and their fields, thirteen cities, and their villages. | | Beth-leba'oth, and Sharu'hen - thirteen cities with their villages; | וּבֵית לְבָאֹות וְשָׁרוּחֶן עָרִים שְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 7 | Ερεμμων καὶ Θαλχα καὶ Εθερ καὶ Ασαν, πόλεις τέσσαρες καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν |
Eremmon, and Thalcha, and Jether, and Asan; four cities and their villages, | | En-rimmon, Ether, and Ashan - four cities with their villages; | עַיִן רִמֹּון וָעֶתֶר וְעָשָׁן עָרִים אַרְבַּע וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 8 | κύκλῳ τῶν πόλεων αὐτῶν ἕως Βαρεκ πορευομένων Βαμεθ κατὰ λίβα. αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Συμεων κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. |
round about their cities as far as Balec as [men] go to Bameth southward: this [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Symeon according to their families. | | together with all the villages round about these cities as far as Ba'alath-beer, Ramah of the Negeb. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon according to its families. | וְכָל־הַחֲצֵרִים אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבֹות הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה עַד־בַּעֲלַת בְּאֵר רָאמַת נֶגֶב זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־שִׁמְעֹון לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃ |

| 9 | ἀπὸ τοῦ κλήρου Ιουδα ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Συμεων, ὅτι ἐγενήθη ἡ μερὶς υἱῶν Ιουδα μείζων τῆς αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Συμεων ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ κλήρου αὐτῶν. |
The inheritance of the tribe of the children of Symeon [was a part] of the lot of Juda, for the portion of the children of Juda was greater than theirs; and the children of Symeon inherited in the midst of their lot. | | The inheritance of the tribe of Simeon formed part of the territory of Judah; because the portion of the tribe of Judah was too large for them, the tribe of Simeon obtained an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance. | מֵחֶבֶל בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי שִׁמְעֹון כִּי־הָיָה חֵלֶק בְּנֵי־יְהוּדָה רַב מֵהֶם וַיִּנְחֲלוּ בְנֵי־שִׁמְעֹון בְּתֹוךְ נַחֲלָתָם׃ ף |

| 10 | Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ τρίτος τῷ Ζαβουλων κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. καὶ ἔσται τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἕως Σαριδ· |
And the third lot came out to Zabulon according to their families: the bounds of their inheritance shall be-- Esedekgola shall be their border, | | The third lot came up for the tribe of Zeb'ulun, according to its families. And the territory of its inheritance reached as far as Sarid; | וַיַּעַל הַגֹּורָל הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לִבְנֵי זְבוּלֻן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַחֲלָתָם עַד־שָׂרִיד׃ |

| 11 | ὅρια αὐτῶν ἡ θάλασσα καὶ Μαραγελλα καὶ συνάψει ἐπὶ Βαιθαραβα εἰς τὴν φάραγγα, ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ πρόσωπον Ιεκμαν, |
the sea and Magelda, and it shall reach to Baetharaba in the valley, which is opposite Jekman. | | then its boundary goes up westward, and on to Mar'eal, and touches Dab'besheth, then the brook which is east of Jok'ne-am; | וְעָלָה גְבוּלָם לַיָּמָּה וּמַרְעֲלָה וּפָגַע בְּדַבָּשֶׁת וּפָגַע אֶל־הַנַּחַל אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי יָקְנְעָם׃ |

| 12 | καὶ ἀνέστρεψεν ἀπὸ Σεδδουκ ἐξ ἐναντίας ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν Βαιθσαμυς ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Χασελωθαιθ καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ Δαβιρωθ καὶ προσαναβήσεται ἐπὶ Φαγγαι |
And the border returned from Sedduc in a contrary direction eastward from Baethsamys, to the borders of Chaselohaith, and shall pass on to Dabiroth, and shall proceed upward to Phangai. | | from Sarid it goes in the other direction eastward toward the sunrise to the boundary of Chis'loth-ta'bor; thence it goes to Dab'erath, then up to Japhi'a; | וְשָׁב מִשָּׂרִיד קֵדְמָה מִזְרַח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ עַל־גְּבוּל כִּסְלֹת תָּבֹר וְיָצָא אֶל־הַדָּבְרַת וְעָלָה יָפִיעַ׃ |

| 13 | καὶ ἐκεῖθεν περιελεύσεται ἐξ ἐναντίας ἐπ' ἀνατολὰς ἐπὶ Γεθθα ἐπὶ πόλιν Κασιμ καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ Ρεμμων Αμμαθαριμ Αννουα |
And thence it shall come round in the opposite direction eastward to Gebere to the city of Catasem, and shall go on to Remmonaa Matharaoza. | | from there it passes along on the east toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and going on to Rimmon it bends toward Ne'ah; | וּמִשָּׁם עָבַר קֵדְמָה מִזְרָחָה גִּתָּה חֵפֶר עִתָּה קָצִין וְיָצָא רִמֹּון הַמְּתֹאָר הַנֵּעָה׃ |

| 14 | καὶ περιελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια βορρᾶ ἐπὶ Ενναθωθ, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ Γαιιεφθαηλ |
And the borders shall come round northward to Amoth, and their going out shall be at Gaephael, | | then on the north the boundary turns about to Han'nathon, and it ends at the valley of Iph'tahel; | וְנָסַב אֹתֹו הַגְּבוּל מִצְּפֹון חַנָּתֹן וְהָיוּ תֹּצְאֹתָיו גֵּי יִפְתַּח־אֵל׃ |

| 15 | καὶ Καταναθ καὶ Ναβααλ καὶ Συμοων καὶ Ιεριχω καὶ Βαιθμαν. |
and Catanath, and Nabaal, and Symoon, and Jericho, and Baethman. | | and Kattath, Nahal'al, Shimron, I'dalah, and Bethlehem - twelve cities with their villages. | וְקַטָּת וְנַהֲלָל וְשִׁמְרֹון וְיִדְאֲלָה וּבֵית לָחֶם עָרִים שְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |
15 |
| 16 | αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ζαβουλων κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, αἱ πόλεις αὗται καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. |
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Zabulon according to their families, [these] cities and their villages. | | This is the inheritance of the tribe of Zeb'ulun, according to its families - these cities with their villages. | זֹאת נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־זְבוּלֻן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹותָם הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ ף |

| 17 | Καὶ τῷ Ισσαχαρ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ τέταρτος. |
And the fourth lot came out to Issachar. | | The fourth lot came out for Is'sachar, for the tribe of Is'sachar, according to its families. | לְיִשָּׂשכָר יָצָא הַגֹּורָל הָרְבִיעִי לִבְנֵי יִשָּׂשכָר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹותָם׃ |

| 18 | καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν Ιεζραελ καὶ Αχασελωθ καὶ Σουναμ |
And their borders were Jazel, and Chasaloth, and Sunam, | | Its territory included Jezreel, Chesul'loth, Shunem, | וַיְהִי גְּבוּלָם יִזְרְעֶאלָה וְהַכְּסוּלֹת וְשׁוּנֵם׃ |

| 19 | καὶ Αγιν καὶ Σιωνα καὶ Ρεηρωθ καὶ Αναχερεθ |
and Agin, and Siona, and Reeroth, | | Haph'ara-im, Shion, Ana'harath, | וַחֲפָרַיִם וְשִׁיאֹן וַאֲנָחֲרַת׃ |

| 20 | καὶ Δαβιρων καὶ Κισων καὶ Ρεβες |
and Anachereth, and Dabiron, and Kison, and Rebes, | | Rabbith, Kish'ion, Ebez, | וְהָרַבִּית וְקִשְׁיֹון וָאָבֶץ׃ |

| 21 | καὶ Ρεμμας καὶ Ιεων καὶ Τομμαν καὶ Αιμαρεκ καὶ Βηρσαφης, |
and Remmas, and Jeon, and Tomman, and Aemarec, and Bersaphes. | | Remeth, En-gan'nim, En-had'dah, Beth-paz'zez; | וְרֶמֶת וְעֵין־גַּנִּים וְעֵין חַדָּה וּבֵית פַּץֵּץ׃ |

| 22 | καὶ συνάψει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ Γαιθβωρ καὶ ἐπὶ Σαλιμ κατὰ θάλασσαν καὶ Βαιθσαμυς, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ὁ Ιορδάνης. |
And the boundaries shall border upon Gaethbor, and upon Salim westward, and Baethsamys; and the extremity of his bounds shall be Jordan. | | the boundary also touches Tabor, Shahazu'mah, and Beth-she'mesh, and its boundary ends at the Jordan - sixteen cities with their villages. | וּפָגַע הַגְּבוּל בְּתָבֹור [כ= וְשַׁחֲצוּמָה] [ק= וְשַׁחֲצִימָה] וּבֵית שֶׁמֶשׁ וְהָיוּ תֹּצְאֹות גְּבוּלָם הַיַּרְדֵּן עָרִים שֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 23 | αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Ισσαχαρ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν. |
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages. | | This is the inheritance of the tribe of Is'sachar, according to its families - the cities with their villages. | זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־יִשָּׂשכָר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ ף |

| 24 | Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πέμπτος Ασηρ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. |
And the fifth lot came out to Aser according to their families. | | The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher according to its families. | וַיֵּצֵא הַגֹּורָל הַחֲמִישִׁי לְמַטֵּה בְנֵי־אָשֵׁר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹותָם׃ |

| 25 | καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἐξ Ελεκεθ καὶ Αλεφ καὶ Βαιθοκ καὶ Κεαφ |
And their borders were Exeleketh, and Aleph, and Baethok, and Keaph, | | Its territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Ach'shaph, | וַיְהִי גְּבוּלָם חֶלְקַת וַחֲלִי וָבֶטֶן וְאַכְשָׁף׃ |

| 26 | καὶ Ελιμελεκ καὶ Αμιηλ καὶ Μαασα καὶ συνάψει τῷ Καρμήλῳ κατὰ θάλασσαν καὶ τῷ Σιων καὶ Λαβαναθ |
and Elimelech, and Amiel, and Maasa, and the lot will border on Carmel westward, and on Sion, and Labanath. | | Allam'melech, Amad, and Mishal; on the west it touches Carmel and Shihor-lib'nath, | וְאַלַמֶּלֶךְ וְעַמְעָד וּמִשְׁאָל וּפָגַע בְּכַרְמֶל הַיָּמָּה וּבְשִׁיחֹור לִבְנָת׃ |

| 27 | καὶ ἐπιστρέψει ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου Βηθδαγων καὶ συνάψει τῷ Ζαβουλων καὶ ἐν Γαι Ιεφθαηλ κατὰ βορρᾶν, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Σαφθαβηθαεμεκ καὶ πορεύσεται τὸ μεθόριον Ανιηλ καὶ διελεύσεται εἰς Χαβωλ ἀπὸ ἀριστερῶν |
And it will return westward from Baethegeneth, and will join Zabulon and Ekgai, and Phthaeel northwards, and the borders will come to Saphthaebaethme, and Inael, and will go on to Chobamasomel, | | then it turns eastward, it goes to Beth-dagon, and touches Zeb'ulun and the valley of Iph'tahel northward to Beth-emek and Nei'el; then it continues in the north to Cabul, | וְשָׁב מִזְרַח הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בֵּית דָּגֹן וּפָגַע בִּזְבֻלוּן וּבְגֵי יִפְתַּח־אֵל צָפֹונָה בֵּית הָעֵמֶק וּנְעִיאֵל וְיָצָא אֶל־כָּבוּל מִשְּׂמֹאל׃ |

| 28 | καὶ Ελβων καὶ Ρααβ καὶ Εμεμαων καὶ Κανθαν ἕως Σιδῶνος τῆς μεγάλης, |
and Elbon, and Raab, and Ememaon, and Canthan to great Sidon. | | Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, Kanah, as far as Sidon the Great; | וְעֶבְרֹן וּרְחֹב וְחַמֹּון וְקָנָה עַד צִידֹון רַבָּה׃ |

| 29 | καὶ ἀναστρέψει τὰ ὅρια εἰς Ραμα καὶ ἕως πόλεως ὀχυρώματος τῶν Τυρίων, καὶ ἀναστρέψει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ Ωσα, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ ἡ θάλασσα καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ σχοινίσματος Αχζιφ |
And the borders shall turn back to Rama, and to the fountain of Masphassat, and the Tyrians; and the borders shall return to Jasiph, and their going forth shall be the sea, and Apoleb, and Echozob, | | then the boundary turns to Ramah, reaching to the fortified city of Tyre; then the boundary turns to Hosah, and it ends at the sea; Mahalab, Achzib, | וְשָׁב הַגְּבוּל הָרָמָה וְעַד־עִיר מִבְצַר־צֹר וְשָׁב הַגְּבוּל חֹסָה [כ= וְיִהְיוּ] [ק= וְהָיוּ] תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה מֵחֶבֶל אַכְזִיבָה׃ |

| 30 | καὶ Αμμα καὶ Αφεκ καὶ Ραωβ, πόλεις εἴκοσι δύο. |
and Archob, and Aphec, and Raau. | | Ummah, Aphek and Rehob - twenty-two cities with their villages. | וְעֻמָה וַאֲפֵק וּרְחֹב עָרִים עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁתַּיִם וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 31 | αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Ασηρ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. |
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Aser according to their families, the cities and their villages. | | This is the inheritance of the tribe of Asher according to its families - these cities with their villages. | זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־אָשֵׁר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ ף |

| 32 | Καὶ τῷ Νεφθαλι ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ ἕκτος. |
And the sixth lot came out to Nephthali. | | The sixth lot came out for the tribe of Naph'tali, for the tribe of Naph'tali, according to its families. | לִבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי יָצָא הַגֹּורָל הַשִּׁשִּׁי לִבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃ |

| 33 | καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν Μοολαμ καὶ Μωλα καὶ Βεσεμιιν καὶ Αρμε καὶ Ναβωκ καὶ Ιεφθαμαι ἕως Δωδαμ, καὶ ἐγενήθησαν αἱ διέξοδοι αὐτοῦ ὁ Ιορδάνης· |
And their borders were Moolam, and Mola, and Besemiin, and Arme, and Naboc, and Jephthamai, as far as Dodam; and their goings out were Jordan. | | And its boundary ran from Heleph, from the oak in Za-anan'nim, and Ad'ami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and it ended at the Jordan; | וַיְהִי גְבוּלָם מֵחֵלֶף מֵאֵלֹון בְּצַעֲנַנִּים וַאֲדָמִי הַנֶּקֶב וְיַבְנְאֵל עַד־לַקּוּם וַיְהִי תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיַּרְדֵּן׃ |

| 34 | καὶ ἐπιστρέψει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν Αζανωθ Θαβωρ καὶ διελεύσεται ἐκεῖθεν εἰς Ικωκ καὶ συνάψει τῷ Ζαβουλων ἀπὸ νότου καὶ τῷ Ασηρ συνάψει κατὰ θάλασσαν, καὶ ὁ Ιορδάνης ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου. |
And the coasts will return westward by Athabor, and will go out thence to Jacana, and will border on Zabulon southward, and Aser will join [it] westward, and Jordan eastward. | | then the boundary turns westward to Az'noth-tabor, and goes from there to Hukkok, touching Zeb'ulun at the south, and Asher on the west, and Judah on the east at the Jordan. | וְשָׁב הַגְּבוּל יָמָּה אַזְנֹות תָּבֹור וְיָצָא מִשָּׁם חוּקֹקָה וּפָגַע בִּזְבֻלוּן מִנֶּגֶב וּבְאָשֵׁר פָּגַע מִיָּם וּבִיהוּדָה הַיַּרְדֵּן מִזְרַח הַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃ |

| 35 | καὶ αἱ πόλεις τειχήρεις τῶν Τυρίων Τύρος καὶ Ωμαθα, Δακεθ καὶ Κενερεθ |
And the walled cities of the Tyrians, Tyre, and Omathadaketh, and Kenereth, | | The fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chin'nereth, | וְעָרֵי מִבְצָר הַצִּדִּים צֵר וְחַמַּת רַקַּת וְכִנָּרֶת׃ |

| 36 | καὶ Αρμαιθ καὶ Αραηλ καὶ Ασωρ |
and Armaith, and Areal, and Asor, | | Ad'amah, Ramah, Hazor, | וַאֲדָמָה וְהָרָמָה וְחָצֹור׃ |

| 37 | καὶ Καδες καὶ Ασσαρι καὶ πηγὴ Ασορ |
and Cades, and Assari, and the well of Asor; | | Kedesh, Ed're-i, En-ha'zor, | וְקֶדֶשׁ וְאֶדְרֶעִי וְעֵין חָצֹור׃ |

| 38 | καὶ Κερωε καὶ Μεγαλα, Αριμ καὶ Βαιθθαμε καὶ Θεσσαμυς. |
and Keroe, and Megalaarim, and Baetthame, and Thessamys. | | Yiron, Mig'dal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-she'mesh - nineteen cities with their villages. | וְיִרְאֹון וּמִגְדַּל־אֵל חֳרֵם וּבֵית־עֲנָת וּבֵית שָׁמֶשׁ עָרִים תְּשַׁע־עֶשְׂרֵה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ |

| 39 | αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Νεφθαλι. |
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Nephthali. | | This is the inheritance of the tribe of Naph'tali according to its families - the cities with their villages. | זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־נַפְתָּלִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ ף |

And their borders were Sarath, and Asa, and the cities of Sammaus, | | And the territory of its inheritance included Zorah, Esh'ta-ol, Ir-she'mesh, | וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַחֲלָתָם צָרְעָה וְאֶשְׁתָּאֹול וְעִיר שָׁמֶשׁ׃ |

| 42 | καὶ Σαλαβιν καὶ Αμμων καὶ Σιλαθα |
and Salamin, and Ammon, and Silatha, | | Sha-alab'bin, Ai'jalon, Ithlah, | וְשַׁעֲלַבִּין וְאַיָּלֹון וְיִתְלָה׃ |

| 43 | καὶ Αιλων καὶ Θαμναθα καὶ Ακκαρων |
and Elon, and Thamnatha, and Accaron; | | Elon, Timnah, Ekron, | וְאֵילֹון וְתִמְנָתָה וְעֶקְרֹון׃ |

| 46 | καὶ ἀπὸ θαλάσσης Ιερακων ὅριον πλησίον Ιόππης. |
And westward of Hieracon the border [was] near to Joppa. | | and Me-jar'kon and Rakkon with the territory over against Joppa. | וּמֵי הַיַּרְקֹון וְהָרַקֹּון עִם־הַגְּבוּל מוּל יָפֹו׃ |

| 47 | καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιουδα καὶ ἐπολέμησαν τὴν Λαχις καὶ κατελάβοντο αὐτὴν καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὴν ἐν στόματι μαχαίρας καὶ κατῴκησαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐκάλεσαν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῆς Λασενδακ. |
And the sons of Dan went and fought against Lachis, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword; and they dwelt in it, and called the name of it Lasendan: and the Amorite continued to dwell in Edom and in Salamin: and the hand of Ephraim prevailed against them, and they became tributaries to them. | | When the territory of the Danites was lost to them, the Danites went up and fought against Leshem, and after capturing it and putting it to the sword they took possession of it and settled in it, calling Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor. | וַיֵּצֵא גְבוּל־בְּנֵי־דָן מֵהֶם וַיַּעֲלוּ בְנֵי־דָן וַיִּלָּחֲמוּ עִם־לֶשֶׁם וַיִּלְכְּדוּ אֹותָהּ וַיַּכּוּ אֹותָהּ לְפִי־חֶרֶב וַיִּרְשׁוּ אֹותָהּ וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בָהּ וַיִּקְרְאוּ לְלֶשֶׁם דָּן כְּשֵׁם דָּן אֲבִיהֶם׃ |

| 48 | αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν Δαν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. |
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families these [are] their cities and their villages: and the children of Dan did not drive out the Amorite who afflicted them in the mountain; and the Amorite would not suffer them to come down into the valley but they forcibly took from them the border of their portion. | | This is the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, according to their families - these cities with their villages. | זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־דָן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ ף |

| 49 | Καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐμβατεῦσαι τὴν γῆν κατὰ τὸ ὅριον αὐτῶν. καὶ ἔδωκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ κλῆρον Ἰησοῖ τῷ υἱῷ Ναυη ἐν αὐτοῖς |
And they proceeded to take possession of the land according to their borders, and the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Naue among them, | | When they had finished distributing the several territories of the land as inheritances, the people of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. | וַיְכַלּוּ לִנְחֹל־אֶת־הָאָרֶץ לִגְבוּלֹתֶיהָ וַיִּתְּנוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל נַחֲלָה לִיהֹושֻׁעַ בִּן־נוּן בְּתֹוכָם׃ |

| 50 | διὰ προστάγματος τοῦ θεοῦ· καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτῷ τὴν πόλιν, ἣν ᾐτήσατο, Θαμνασαραχ, ἥ ἐστιν ἐν τῷ ὄρει Εφραιμ· καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν τὴν πόλιν καὶ κατῴκει ἐν αὐτῇ. |
by the command of God, and they gave him the city which he asked for, Thamnasarach, which is in the mount of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it. | | By command of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, Tim'nath-se'rah in the hill country of E'phraim; and he rebuilt the city, and settled in it. | עַל־פִּי יְהוָה נָתְנוּ לֹו אֶת־הָעִיר אֲשֶׁר שָׁאָל אֶת־תִּמְנַת־סֶרַח בְּהַר אֶפְרָיִם וַיִּבְנֶה אֶת־הָעִיר וַיֵּשֶׁב בָּהּ׃ |

| 51 | Αὗται αἱ διαιρέσεις, ἃς κατεκληρονόμησεν Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς Ισραηλ κατὰ κλήρους ἐν Σηλω ἐναντίον κυρίου παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου· καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐμβατεῦσαι τὴν γῆν. |
These [are] the divisions which Eleazar the priest divided by lot, and Joshua the [son] of Naue, and the heads of families among the tribes of Israel, according to the lots, in Selo before the Lord by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and they went to take possession of the land. | | These are the inheritances which Elea'zar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers' houses of the tribes of the people of Israel distributed by lot at Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting. So they finished dividing the land. | אֵלֶּה הַנְּחָלֹת אֲשֶׁר נִחֲלוּ אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן וִיהֹושֻׁעַ בִּן־נוּן וְרָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לְמַטֹּות בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּגֹורָל בְּשִׁלֹה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וַיְכַלּוּ מֵחַלֵּק אֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃ ף |
