1Καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὴν πληγὴν καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα λέγων And it came to pass after the plague, that the Lord spoke to Moses and Eleazar the priest, saying,The second census. Nu.26.1-65After the plague the LORD said to Moses and to Elea'zar the son of Aaron, the priest,וַיְהִי אַחֲרֵי הַמַּגֵּפָה׃ ף 19
2Λαβὲ τὴν ἀρχὴν πάσης συναγωγῆς υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω κατ' οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος παρατάξασθαι ἐν Ισραηλ. Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to the houses of their lineage, every one that goes forth to battle in Israel. "Take a census of all the congregation of the people of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers' houses, all in Israel who are able to go forth to war."שְׂאוּ אֶת־רֹאשׁ כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם כָּל־יֹצֵא צָבָא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ 2
3καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐν Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω λέγων And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke in Araboth of Moab at the Jordan by Jericho, saying, And Moses and Elea'zar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֹתָם בְּעַרְבֹת מֹואָב עַל־יַרְדֵּן יְרֵחֹו לֵאמֹר׃ 3
4Ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. Καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ οἱ ἐξελθόντες ἐξ Αἰγύπτου· [This is the numbering] from twenty years old and upward as the Lord commanded Moses. And the sons of Israel that came out of Egypt [are as follows]: "Take a census of the people, from twenty years old and upward," as the LORD commanded Moses. The people of Israel, who came forth out of the land of Egypt, were:מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמָעְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַיֹּצְאִים מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃ 4
5Ρουβην πρωτότοκος Ισραηλ. υἱοὶ δὲ Ρουβην· Ενωχ καὶ δῆμος τοῦ Ενωχ· τῷ Φαλλου δῆμος τοῦ Φαλλουι· Ruben [was] the first-born of Israel: and the sons of Ruben, Enoch and the family of Enoch; to Phallu belongs the family of the Phalluites. Reuben, the first-born of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Ha'nochites; of Pallu, the family of the Pal'luites;רְאוּבֵן בְּכֹור יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּנֵי רְאוּבֵן חֲנֹוךְ מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֲנֹכִי לְפַלּוּא מִשְׁפַּחַת הַפַּלֻּאִי׃ 5
6τῷ Ασρων δῆμος τοῦ Ασρωνι· τῷ Χαρμι δῆμος τοῦ Χαρμι. To Asron, the family of Asroni: to Charmi, the family of Charmi. of Hezron, the family of the Hez'ronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.לְחֶצְרֹן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶצְרֹונִי לְכַרְמִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַכַּרְמִי׃ 6
7οὗτοι δῆμοι Ρουβην· καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι καὶ τριάκοντα. - These [are] the families of Ruben; and their numbering was forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty. These are the families of the Reubenites; and their number was forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָרֻאוּבֵנִי וַיִּהְיוּ פְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאֹות וּשְׁלֹשִׁים׃ 7
8καὶ υἱοὶ Φαλλου· Ελιαβ. And the sons of Phallu [were] Eliab,-- And the sons of Pallu: Eli'ab.וּבְנֵי פַלּוּא אֱלִיאָב׃ 8
9καὶ υἱοὶ Ελιαβ· Ναμουηλ καὶ Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων· οὗτοι ἐπίκλητοι τῆς συναγωγῆς, οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ ἐπισυστάντες ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ Κορε ἐν τῇ ἐπισυστάσει κυρίου, and the sons of Eliab, Namuel, and Dathan, and Abiron: these [are] renowned men of the congregation; these are they that rose up against Moses and Aaron in the gathering of Core, in the rebellion against the Lord. The sons of Eli'ab: Nem'uel, Dathan, and Abi'ram. These are the Dathan and Abi'ram, chosen from the congregation, who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the LORD,וּבְנֵי אֱלִיאָב נְמוּאֵל וְדָתָן וַאֲבִירָם הוּא־דָתָן וַאֲבִירָם [כ= קְרוּאֵי] [ק= קְרִיאֵי] הָעֵדָה אֲשֶׁר הִצּוּ עַל־מֹשֶׁה וְעַל־אַהֲרֹן בַּעֲדַת־קֹרַח בְּהַצֹּתָם עַל־יְהוָה׃ 9
10καὶ ἀνοίξασα ἡ γῆ τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς κατέπιεν αὐτοὺς καὶ Κορε ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ τῆς συναγωγῆς αὐτοῦ, ὅτε κατέφαγεν τὸ πῦρ τοὺς πεντήκοντα καὶ διακοσίους, καὶ ἐγενήθησαν ἐν σημείῳ, And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them and Core, when their assembly perished, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty, and they were made a sign. and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a warning.וַתִּפְתַּח הָאָרֶץ אֶת־פִּיהָ וַתִּבְלַע אֹתָם וְאֶת־קֹרַח בְּמֹות הָעֵדָה בַּאֲכֹל הָאֵשׁ אֵת חֲמִשִּׁים וּמָאתַיִם אִישׁ וַיִּהְיוּ לְנֵס׃ 10
11οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Κορε οὐκ ἀπέθανον. But the sons of Core died not. Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah did not die.וּבְנֵי־קֹרַח לֹא־מֵתוּ׃ ס 11
12Καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Συμεων· ὁ δῆμος τῶν υἱῶν Συμεων· τῷ Ναμουηλ δῆμος ὁ Ναμουηλι· τῷ Ιαμιν δῆμος ὁ Ιαμινι· τῷ Ιαχιν δῆμος ὁ Ιαχινι· And the sons of Symeon:-- the family of the sons of Symeon: to Namuel, [belonged] the family of the Namuelites; to Jamin the family of the Jaminites; to Jachin the family of the Jachinites. The sons of Simeon according to their families: of Nem'uel, the family of the Nem'uelites; of Jamin, the family of the Ja'minites; of Jachin, the family of the Ja'chinites;בְּנֵי שִׁמְעֹון לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִנְמוּאֵל מִשְׁפַּחַת הַנְּמוּאֵלִי לְיָמִין מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיָּמִינִי לְיָכִין מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיָּכִינִי׃ 12
13τῷ Ζαρα δῆμος ὁ Ζαραι· τῷ Σαουλ δῆμος ὁ Σαουλι. To Zara the family of the Zaraites; to Saul the family of the Saulites. of Zerah, the family of the Zer'ahites; of Sha'ul, the family of the Sha'ulites.לְזֶרַח מִשְׁפַּחַת הַזַּרְחִי לְשָׁאוּל מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשָּׁאוּלִי׃ 13
14οὗτοι δῆμοι Συμεων ἐκ τῆς ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ διακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Symeon according to their numbering, two and twenty thousand and two hundred. These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַשִּׁמְעֹנִי שְׁנַיִם וְעֶשְׂרִים אֶלֶף וּמָאתָיִם׃ ס 14
15Υἱοὶ δὲ Ιουδα· Ηρ καὶ Αυναν· καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ηρ καὶ Αυναν ἐν γῇ Χανααν. And the sons of Juda, Er and Aunan; and Er and Aunan died in the land of Chanaan. The sons of Judah were Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה עֵר וְאֹוןָן וַיָּמָת עֵר וְאֹוןָן בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן׃ 19
16ἐγένοντο δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ιουδα κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Σηλων δῆμος ὁ Σηλωνι· τῷ Φαρες δῆμος ὁ Φαρες· τῷ Ζαρα δῆμος ὁ Ζαραι. And these were the sons of Juda, according to their families: to Selom [belonged] the family of the Selonites; to Phares, the family of the Pharesites; to Zara, the family of the Zaraites. And the sons of Judah according to their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shela'nites; of Perez, the family of the Per'ezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zer'ahites.וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יְהוּדָה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְשֵׁלָה מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשֵּׁלָנִי לְפֶרֶץ מִשְׁפַּחַת הַפַּרְצִי לְזֶרַח מִשְׁפַּחַת הַזַּרְחִי׃ 20
17καὶ ἐγένοντο υἱοὶ Φαρες· τῷ Ασρων δῆμος ὁ Ασρωνι· τῷ Ιαμουν δῆμος ὁ Ιαμουνι. And the sons of Phares were, to Asron, the family of the Asronites; to Jamun, the family of the Jamunites. And the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hez'ronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamu'lites.וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־פֶרֶץ לְחֶצְרֹן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶצְרֹנִי לְחָמוּל מִשְׁפַּחַת הֶחָמוּלִי׃ 21
18οὗτοι δῆμοι τῷ Ιουδα κατὰ τὴν ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτῶν, ἓξ καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Juda according to their numbering, seventy-six thousand and five hundred. These are the families of Judah according to their number, seventy-six thousand five hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת יְהוּדָה לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם שִׁשָּׁה וְשִׁבְעִים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס 22
19Καὶ υἱοὶ Ισσαχαρ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Θωλα δῆμος ὁ Θωλαι· τῷ Φουα δῆμος ὁ Φουαι· And the sons of Issachar according to their families: to Thola, the family of the Tholaites; to Phua, the family of the Phuaites. The sons of Is'sachar according to their families: of Tola, the family of the To'laites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;בְּנֵי יִשָּׂשכָר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם תֹּולָע מִשְׁפַּחַת הַתֹּולָעִי לְפֻוָה מִשְׁפַּחַת הַפּוּנִי׃ 23
20τῷ Ιασουβ δῆμος ὁ Ιασουβι· τῷ Σαμαραν δῆμος ὁ Σαμαρανι. To Jasub, the family of the Jasubites; to Samram, the family of the Samramites. of Jashub, the family of the Jash'ubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shim'ronites.לְיָשׁוּב מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיָּשׁוּבִי לְשִׁמְרֹן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁמְרֹנִי׃ 24
21οὗτοι δῆμοι Ισσαχαρ ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, τέσσαρες καὶ ἑξήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τριακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Issachar according to their numbering, sixty-four thousand and four hundred. These are the families of Is'sachar according to their number, sixty-four thousand three hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת יִשָּׂשכָר לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם אַרְבָּעָה וְשִׁשִּׁים אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס 25
22Υἱοὶ Ζαβουλων κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Σαρεδ δῆμος ὁ Σαρεδι· τῷ Αλλων δῆμος ὁ Αλλωνι· τῷ Αλληλ δῆμος ὁ Αλληλι. The sons of Zabulon according to their families: to Sared, the family of the Saredites; to Allon, the family of the Allonites; to Allel, the family of the Allelites. The sons of Zeb'ulun, according to their families: of Sered, the family of the Ser'edites; of Elon, the family of the E'lonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jah'leelites.בְּנֵי זְבוּלֻן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְסֶרֶד מִשְׁפַּחַת הַסַּרְדִּי לְאֵלֹון מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאֵלֹנִי לְיַחְלְאֵל מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיַּחְלְאֵלִי׃ 26
23οὗτοι δῆμοι Ζαβουλων ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, ἑξήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Zabulon according to their numbering, sixty thousand and five hundred. These are the families of the Zeb'ulunites according to their number, sixty thousand five hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַזְּבוּלֹנִי לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם שִׁשִּׁים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס 27
24Υἱοὶ Γαδ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Σαφων δῆμος ὁ Σαφωνι· τῷ Αγγι δῆμος ὁ Αγγι· τῷ Σουνι δῆμος ὁ Σουνι· The sons of Gad according to their families: to Saphon, the family of the Saphonites; to Angi, the family of the Angites; to Suni, the family of the Sunites; The sons of Gad according to their families: of Zephon, the family of the Ze'phonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;בְּנֵי גָד לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִצְפֹון מִשְׁפַּחַת הַצְּפֹונִי לְחַגִּי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחַגִּי לְשׁוּנִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשּׁוּנִי׃ 15
25τῷ Αζενι δῆμος ὁ Αζενι· τῷ Αδδι δῆμος ὁ Αδδι· to Azeni, the family of the Azenites; to Addi, the family of the Addites: of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;לְאָזְנִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאָזְנִי לְעֵרִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הָעֵרִי׃ 16
26τῷ Αροαδι δῆμος ὁ Αροαδι· τῷ Αριηλ δῆμος ὁ Αριηλι. to Aroadi, the family of the Aroadites; to Ariel, the family of the Arielites. of Ar'od, the family of the Ar'odites; of Are'li, the family of the Are'lites.לַאֲרֹוד מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאֲרֹודִי לְאַרְאֵלִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאַרְאֵלִי׃ 17
27οὗτοι δῆμοι υἱῶν Γαδ ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι. These [are] the families of the children of Gad according to their numbering, forty-four thousand and five hundred. These are the families of the sons of Gad according to their number, forty thousand five hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי־גָד לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם אַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ ס 18
28Υἱοὶ Ασηρ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Ιαμιν δῆμος ὁ Ιαμινι· τῷ Ιεσου δῆμος ὁ Ιεσουι· τῷ Βαρια δῆμος ὁ Βαριαι· The sons of Aser according to their families; to Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; to Jesu, the family of the Jesusites; to Baria, the family of the Bariaites. The sons of Asher according to their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beri'ah, the family of the Beri'ites.בְּנֵי אָשֵׁר לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְיִמְנָה מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיִּמְנָה לְיִשְׁוִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיִּשְׁוִי לִבְרִיעָה מִשְׁפַּחַת הַבְּרִיעִי׃ 44
29τῷ Χοβερ δῆμος ὁ Χοβερι· τῷ Μελχιηλ δῆμος ὁ Μελχιηλι. To Chober, the family of the Choberites; to Melchiel, the family of the Melchielites. Of the sons of Beri'ah: of Heber, the family of the He'berites; of Mal'chi-el, the family of the Mal'chi-elites.לִבְנֵי בְרִיעָה לְחֶבֶר מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶבְרִי לְמַלְכִּיאֵל מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמַּלְכִּיאֵלִי׃ 45
30καὶ τὸ ὄνομα θυγατρὸς Ασηρ Σαρα. And the name of the daughter of Aser, Sara. And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.וְשֵׁם בַּת־אָשֵׁר שָׂרַח׃ 46
31οὗτοι δῆμοι Ασηρ ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, τρεῖς καὶ πεντήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Aser according to their numbering, forty-three thousand and four hundred. These are the families of the sons of Asher according to their number, fifty-three thousand four hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי־אָשֵׁר לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ ס 47
32Υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· Μανασση καὶ Εφραιμ. - The sons of Joseph according to their families, Manasse and Ephraim. The sons of Joseph according to their families: Manas'seh and E'phraim.בְּנֵי יֹוסֵף לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרָיִם׃ 28
33υἱοὶ Μανασση· τῷ Μαχιρ δῆμος ὁ Μαχιρι· καὶ Μαχιρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γαλααδ· τῷ Γαλααδ δῆμος ὁ Γαλααδι. The sons of Manasse. To Machir the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Galaad: to Galaad, the family of the Galaadites. The sons of Manas'seh: of Machir, the family of the Ma'chirites; and Machir was the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.בְּנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה לְמָכִיר מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמָּכִירִי וּמָכִיר הֹולִיד אֶת־גִּלְעָד לְגִלְעָד מִשְׁפַּחַת הַגִּלְעָדִי׃ 29
34καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Γαλααδ· τῷ Αχιεζερ δῆμος ὁ Αχιεζερι· τῷ Χελεγ δῆμος ὁ Χελεγι· And these [are] the sons of Galaad; to Achiezer, the family of the Achiezerites; to Cheleg, the family of the Chelegites. These are the sons of Gilead: of Ie'zer, the family of the Ie'zerites; of Helek, the family of the He'lekites;אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי גִלְעָד אִיעֶזֶר מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאִיעֶזְרִי לְחֵלֶק מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶלְקִי׃ 30
35τῷ Εσριηλ δῆμος ὁ Εσριηλι· τῷ Συχεμ δῆμος ὁ Συχεμι· To Esriel, the family of the Esrielites; to Sychem, the family of the Sychemites. and of As'riel, the family of the As'rielites; and of Shechem, the family of the She'chemites;וְאַשְׂרִיאֵל מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאַשְׂרִאֵלִי וְשֶׁכֶם מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁכְמִי׃ 31
36τῷ Συμαερ δῆμος ὁ Συμαερι· καὶ τῷ Οφερ δῆμος ὁ Οφερι. To Symaer, the family of the Symaerites; and to Opher, the family of the Opherites. and of Shemi'da, the family of the Shemi'daites; and of Hepher, the family of the He'pherites.וּשְׁמִידָע מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשְּׁמִידָעִי וְחֵפֶר מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶפְרִי׃ 32
37καὶ τῷ Σαλπααδ υἱῷ Οφερ οὐκ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ υἱοί, ἀλλ' ἢ θυγατέρες, καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν θυγατέρων Σαλπααδ· Μαλα καὶ Νουα καὶ Εγλα καὶ Μελχα καὶ Θερσα. And to Salpaad the son of Opher there were no sons, but daughters: and these [were] the names of the daughters of Salpaad; Mala, and Nua, and Egla, and Melcha, and Thersa. Now Zeloph'ehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zeloph'ehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.וּצְלָפְחָד בֶּן־חֵפֶר לֹא־הָיוּ לֹו בָּנִים כִּי אִם־בָּנֹות וְשֵׁם בְּנֹות צְלָפְחָד מַחְלָה וְנֹעָה חָגְלָה מִלְכָּה וְתִרְצָה׃ 33
38οὗτοι δῆμοι Μανασση ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, δύο καὶ πεντήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι. 39Καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Εφραιμ· τῷ Σουταλα δῆμος ὁ Σουταλαι· τῷ Ταναχ δῆμος ὁ Ταναχι. And these [are] the children of Ephraim; to Suthala, the family of the Suthalanites; to Tanach, the family of the Tanachites. These are the sons of E'phraim according to their families: of Shuthe'lah, the family of the Shuthe'lahites; of Becher, the family of the Bech'erites; of Tahan, the family of the Ta'hanites.אֵלֶּה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְשׁוּתֶלַח מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשֻּׁתַלְחִי לְבֶכֶר מִשְׁפַּחַת הַבַּכְרִי לְתַחַן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַתַּחֲנִי׃ 35

42Υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Βαλε δῆμος ὁ Βαλει· τῷ Ασυβηρ δῆμος ὁ Ασυβηρι· τῷ Ιαχιραν δῆμος ὁ Ιαχιρανι· The sons of Benjamin according to their families; to Bale, the family of the Balites; to Asyber, the family of the Asyberites; to Jachiran, the family of the Jachiranites. The sons of Benjamin according to their families: of Bela, the family of the Be'la-ites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ash'belites; of Ahi'ram, the family of the Ahi'ramites;בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְבֶלַע מִשְׁפַּחַת הַבַּלְעִי לְאַשְׁבֵּל מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאַשְׁבֵּלִי לַאֲחִירָם מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאֲחִירָמִי׃ 38
43τῷ Σωφαν δῆμος ὁ Σωφανι. To Sophan the family of the Sophanites. of Shephu'pham, the family of the Shu'phamites; of Hupham, the family of the Hu'phamites.לִשְׁפוּפָם מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשּׁוּפָמִי לְחוּפָם מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחוּפָמִי׃ 39
44καὶ ἐγένοντο οἱ υἱοὶ Βαλε Αδαρ. καὶ Νοεμαν· τῷ Αδαρ δῆμος ὁ Αδαρι· τῷ Νοεμαν δῆμος ὁ Νοεμανι. And the sons of Bale were Adar and Noeman; to Adar, the family of the Adarites; and to Noeman, the family of the Noemanites. And the sons of Bela were Ard and Na'aman: of Ard, the family of the Ard'ites; of Na'aman, the family of the Na'amites.וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־בֶלַע אַרְדְּ וְנַעֲמָן מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאַרְדִּי לְנַעֲמָן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַנַּעֲמִי׃ 40
45οὗτοι υἱοὶ Βενιαμιν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, πέντε καὶ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑξακόσιοι. 47πάντες οἱ δῆμοι Σαμι κατ' ἐπισκοπὴν αὐτῶν τέσσαρες καὶ ἑξήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. 48Υἱοὶ Νεφθαλι κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Ασιηλ δῆμος ὁ Ασιηλι· τῷ Γαυνι δῆμος ὁ Γαυνι· The sons of Nephthali according to their families; to Asiel, the family of the Asielites; to Gauni, the family of the Gaunites. The sons of Naph'tali according to their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jah'zeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;בְּנֵי נַפְתָּלִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְיַחְצְאֵל מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיַּחְצְאֵלִי לְגוּנִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַגּוּנִי׃ 48
49τῷ Ιεσερ δῆμος ὁ Ιεσερι· τῷ Σελλημ δῆμος ὁ Σελλημι. To Jeser, the family of the Jeserites; to Sellem, the family of the Sellemites. of Jezer, the family of the Je'zerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shil'lemites.לְיֵצֶר מִשְׁפַּחַת הַיִּצְרִי לְשִׁלֵּם מִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁלֵּמִי׃ 49
50οὗτοι δῆμοι Νεφθαλι ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν, πέντε καὶ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. These [are] the families of Nephthali, according to their numbering, forty thousand and three hundred. These are the families of Naph'tali according to their families; and their number was forty-five thousand four hundred.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת נַפְתָּלִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם חֲמִשָּׁה וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ 50
51Αὕτη ἡ ἐπίσκεψις υἱῶν Ισραηλ, ἑξακόσιαι χιλιάδες καὶ χίλιοι καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι καὶ τριάκοντα. This [is] the numbering of the children of Israel, six hundred and one thousand and seven hundred and thirty. This was the number of the people of Israel, six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.אֵלֶּה פְּקוּדֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות אֶלֶף וָאָלֶף שְׁבַע מֵאֹות וּשְׁלֹשִׁים׃ ף 51
52Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, The LORD said to Moses:וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר׃ 52
53Τούτοις μερισθήσεται ἡ γῆ κληρονομεῖν ἐξ ἀριθμοῦ ὀνομάτων· To these the land shall be divided, so that they may inherit according to the number of the names. "To these the land shall be divided for inheritance according to the number of names.לָאֵלֶּה תֵּחָלֵק הָאָרֶץ בְּנַחֲלָה בְּמִסְפַּר שֵׁמֹות׃ 53
54τοῖς πλείοσιν πλεονάσεις τὴν κληρονομίαν καὶ τοῖς ἐλάττοσιν ἐλαττώσεις τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτῶν· ἑκάστῳ καθὼς ἐπεσκέπησαν δοθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν. To the greater number you shall give the greater inheritance, and to the less number you shall give the less inheritance: to each one, as they have been numbered, shall their inheritance be given. To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance; every tribe shall be given its inheritance according to its numbers.לָרַב תַּרְבֶּה נַחֲלָתֹו וְלַמְעַט תַּמְעִיט נַחֲלָתֹו אִישׁ לְפִי פְקֻדָיו יֻתַּן נַחֲלָתֹו׃ 54
55διὰ κλήρων μερισθήσεται ἡ γῆ· τοῖς ὀνόμασιν κατὰ φυλὰς πατριῶν αὐτῶν κληρονομήσουσιν· The land shall be divided to the names by lot, they shall inherit according to the tribes of their families. But the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.אַךְ־בְּגֹורָל יֵחָלֵק אֶת־הָאָרֶץ לִשְׁמֹות מַטֹּות־אֲבֹתָם יִנְחָלוּ׃ 55
56ἐκ τοῦ κλήρου μεριεῖς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτῶν ἀνὰ μέσον πολλῶν καὶ ὀλίγων. You shall divide their inheritance by lot between the many and the few. Their inheritance shall be divided according to lot between the larger and the smaller."עַל־פִּי הַגֹּורָל תֵּחָלֵק נַחֲלָתֹו בֵּין רַב לִמְעָט׃ ס 56
57Καὶ υἱοὶ Λευι κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· τῷ Γεδσων δῆμος ὁ Γεδσωνι· τῷ Κααθ δῆμος ὁ Κααθι· τῷ Μεραρι δῆμος ὁ Μεραρι. And the sons of Levi according to their families; to Gedson, the family of the Gedsonites; to Caath, the family of the Caathites; to Merari, the family of the Merarites. These are the Levites as numbered according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Ko'hathites; of Merar'i, the family of the Merar'ites.וְאֵלֶּה פְקוּדֵי הַלֵּוִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְגֵרְשֹׁון מִשְׁפַּחַת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי לִקְהָת מִשְׁפַּחַת הַקְּהָתִי לִמְרָרִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמְּרָרִי׃ 57
58οὗτοι δῆμοι υἱῶν Λευι· δῆμος ὁ Λοβενι, δῆμος ὁ Χεβρωνι, δῆμος ὁ Κορε καὶ δῆμος ὁ Μουσι. καὶ Κααθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμραμ. These [are] the families of the sons of Levi; the family of the Lobenites, the family of the Chebronites, the family of the Coreites, and the family of the Musites; and Caath begot Amram. These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the He'bronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Ko'rahites. And Kohath was the father of Amram.אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת לֵוִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַלִּבְנִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַחֶבְרֹנִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמַּחְלִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמּוּשִׁי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַקָּרְחִי וּקְהָת הֹולִד אֶת־עַמְרָם׃ 58
59καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ Ιωχαβεδ θυγάτηρ Λευι, ἣ ἔτεκεν τούτους τῷ Λευι ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ· καὶ ἔτεκεν τῷ Αμραμ τὸν Ααρων καὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριαμ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν. And the name of his wife [was] Jochabed, daughter of Levi, who bore these to Levi in Egypt, and she bore to Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Mariam their sister. The name of Amram's wife was Joch'ebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister.וְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת עַמְרָם יֹוכֶבֶד בַּת־לֵוִי אֲשֶׁר יָלְדָה אֹתָהּ לְלֵוִי בְּמִצְרָיִם וַתֵּלֶד לְעַמְרָם אֶת־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת־מֹשֶׁה וְאֵת מִרְיָם אֲחֹתָם׃ 59
60καὶ ἐγεννήθησαν τῷ Ααρων ὅ τε Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ. And to Aaron were born both Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar. And to Aaron were born Nadab, Abi'hu, Elea'zar and Ith'amar.וַיִּוָּלֵד לְאַהֲרֹן אֶת־נָדָב וְאֶת־אֲבִיהוּא אֶת־אֶלְעָזָר וְאֶת־אִיתָמָר׃ 60
61καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἐν τῷ προσφέρειν αὐτοὺς πῦρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα. And Nadab and Abiud died when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sina. But Nadab and Abi'hu died when they offered unholy fire before the LORD.וַיָּמָת נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא בְּהַקְרִיבָם אֵשׁ־זָרָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה׃ 61
62καὶ ἐγενήθησαν ἐξ ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν τρεῖς καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες, πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω· οὐ γὰρ συνεπεσκέπησαν ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ, ὅτι οὐ δίδοται αὐτοῖς κλῆρος ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ. And there were according to their numbering, twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because they have no inheritance in the midst of the children of Israel. And those numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the people of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the people of Israel.וַיִּהְיוּ פְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וְעֶשְׂרִים אֶלֶף כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמָעְלָה כִּי לֹא הָתְפָּקְדוּ בְּתֹוךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי לֹא־נִתַּן לָהֶם נַחֲלָה בְּתֹוךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ 62
63Καὶ αὕτη ἡ ἐπίσκεψις Μωυσῆ καὶ Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως, οἳ ἐπεσκέψαντο τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν Αραβωθ Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω. And this [is] the numbering of Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in Araboth of Moab, at Jordan by Jericho. These were those numbered by Moses and Elea'zar the priest, who numbered the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.אֵלֶּה פְּקוּדֵי מֹשֶׁה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֲשֶׁר פָּקְדוּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעַרְבֹת מֹואָב עַל יַרְדֵּן יְרֵחֹו׃ 63
64καὶ ἐν τούτοις οὐκ ἦν ἄνθρωπος τῶν ἐπεσκεμμένων ὑπὸ Μωυσῆ καὶ Ααρων, οὓς ἐπεσκέψαντο τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα· And among these there was not a man numbered by Moses and Aaron, whom, [even] the children of Israel, they numbered in the wilderness of Sinai. But among these there was not a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who had numbered the people of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.וּבְאֵלֶּה לֹא־הָיָה אִישׁ מִפְּקוּדֵי מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן אֲשֶׁר פָּקְדוּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמִדְבַּר סִינָי׃ 64
65ὅτι εἶπεν κύριος αὐτοῖς Θανάτῳ ἀποθανοῦνται ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ· καὶ οὐ κατελείφθη ἐξ αὐτῶν οὐδὲ εἷς πλὴν Χαλεβ υἱὸς Ιεφοννη καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη. For the Lord said to them, They shall surely die in the wilderness; and there was not left even one of them, except Chaleb the son of Jephonne, and Joshua the [son] of Naue. For the LORD had said of them, "They shall die in the wilderness." There was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephun'neh and Joshua the son of Nun.כִּי־אָמַר יְהוָה לָהֶם מֹות יָמֻתוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר וְלֹא־נֹותַר מֵהֶם אִישׁ כִּי אִם־כָּלֵב בֶּן־יְפֻנֶּה וִיהֹושֻׁעַ בִּן־נוּן׃ ס 65
