| 1 | Καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Λάξευσον σεαυτῷ δύο πλάκας λιθίνας καθὼς καὶ αἱ πρῶται καὶ ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος, καὶ γράψω ἐπὶ τῶν πλακῶν τὰ ῥήματα, ἃ ἦν ἐν ταῖς πλαξὶν ταῖς πρώταις, αἷς συνέτριψας. |
And the Lord said to Moses, Hew for yourself two tables of stone, as also the first were, and come up to me to the mountain; and I will write upon the tables the words, which were on the first tables, which you broke. | The second set of tablets of the Law. | 2 | καὶ γίνου ἕτοιμος εἰς τὸ πρωῒ καὶ ἀναβήσῃ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σινα καὶ στήσῃ μοι ἐκεῖ ἐπ' ἄκρου τοῦ ὄρους. |
And be ready by the morning, and you shall go up to the mount Sina, and shall stand there for me on the top of the mountain. | | Be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain. | וֶהְיֵה נָכֹון לַבֹּקֶר וְעָלִיתָ בַבֹּקֶר אֶל־הַר סִינַי וְנִצַּבְתָּ לִי שָׁם עַל־רֹאשׁ הָהָר׃ |

| 3 | καὶ μηδεὶς ἀναβήτω μετὰ σοῦ μηδὲ ὀφθήτω ἐν παντὶ τῷ ὄρει· καὶ τὰ πρόβατα καὶ αἱ βόες μὴ νεμέσθωσαν πλησίον τοῦ ὄρους ἐκείνου. |
And let no one go up with you, nor be seen in all the mountain; and let not the sheep and oxen feed near that mountain. | | No man shall come up with you, and let no man be seen throughout all the mountain; let no flocks or herds feed before that mountain." | וְאִישׁ לֹא־יַעֲלֶה עִמָּךְ וְגַם־אִישׁ אַל־יֵרָא בְּכָל־הָהָר גַּם־הַצֹּאן וְהַבָּקָר אַל־יִרְעוּ אֶל־מוּל הָהָר הַהוּא׃ |

| 4 | καὶ ἐλάξευσεν δύο πλάκας λιθίνας καθάπερ καὶ αἱ πρῶται· καὶ ὀρθρίσας Μωϋσῆς ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σινα, καθότι συνέταξεν αὐτῷ κύριος· καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωϋσῆς τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας. |
And [Moses] hewed two tables of stone, as also the first were; and Moses having arisen early, went up to the mount Sina, as the Lord appointed him; and Moses took the two tables of stone. | | So Moses cut two tables of stone like the first; and he rose early in the morning and went up on Mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone. | וַיִּפְסֹל שְׁנֵי־לֻחֹת אֲבָנִים כָּרִאשֹׁנִים וַיַּשְׁכֵּם מֹשֶׁה בַבֹּקֶר וַיַּעַל אֶל־הַר סִינַי כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֹתֹו וַיִּקַּח בְּיָדֹו שְׁנֵי לֻחֹת אֲבָנִים׃ |

| 5 | καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ παρέστη αὐτῷ ἐκεῖ· καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου. |
And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood near him there, and called by the name of the Lord. | | And the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. | וַיֵּרֶד יְהוָה בֶּעָןָן וַיִּתְיַצֵּב עִמֹּו שָׁם וַיִּקְרָא בְשֵׁם יְהוָה׃ |

| 6 | καὶ παρῆλθεν κύριος πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς οἰκτίρμων καὶ ἐλεήμων, μακρόθυμος καὶ πολυέλεος καὶ ἀληθινὸς |
And the Lord passed by before his face, and proclaimed, The Lord God, pitiful and merciful, longsuffering and very compassionate, and true, | | The LORD passed before him, and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, | וַיַּעֲבֹר יְהוָה עַל־פָּנָיו וַיִּקְרָא יְהוָה יְהוָה אֵל רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וְרַב־חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת׃ |

| 7 | καὶ δικαιοσύνην διατηρῶν καὶ ποιῶν ἔλεος εἰς χιλιάδας, ἀφαιρῶν ἀνομίας καὶ ἀδικίας καὶ ἁμαρτίας, καὶ οὐ καθαριεῖ τὸν ἔνοχον ἐπάγων ἀνομίας πατέρων ἐπὶ τέκνα καὶ ἐπὶ τέκνα τέκνων ἐπὶ τρίτην καὶ τετάρτην γενεάν. |
and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity, and unrighteousness, and sins; and he will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation. | | keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation." | נֹצֵר חֶסֶד לָאֲלָפִים נֹשֵׂא עָוֹן וָפֶשַׁע וְחַטָּאָה וְנַקֵּה לֹא יְנַקֶּה פֹּקֵד עֲוֹן אָבֹות עַל־בָּנִים וְעַל־בְּנֵי בָנִים עַל־שִׁלֵּשִׁים וְעַל־רִבֵּעִים׃ |

| 8 | καὶ σπεύσας Μωϋσῆς κύψας ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν προσεκύνησεν |
An Moses hasted, and bowed to the earth and worshiped; | | And Moses made haste to bow his head toward the earth, and worshipped. | וַיְמַהֵר מֹשֶׁה וַיִּקֹּד אַרְצָה וַיִּשְׁתָּחוּ׃ |

| 9 | καὶ εἶπεν Εἰ εὕρηκα χάριν ἐνώπιόν σου, συμπορευθήτω ὁ κύριός μου μεθ' ἡμῶν· ὁ λαὸς γὰρ σκληροτράχηλός ἐστιν, καὶ ἀφελεῖς σὺ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν καὶ τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν, καὶ ἐσόμεθα σοί. |
and said, If I have found grace before you, let my Lord go with us; for the people is stiff-necked: and you shall take away our sins and our iniquities, and we will be thine. | | And he said, "If now I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us, although it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thy inheritance." | וַיֹּאמֶר אִם־נָא מָצָאתִי חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ אֲדֹנָי יֵלֶךְ־נָא אֲדֹנָי בְּקִרְבֵּנוּ כִּי עַם־קְשֵׁה־עֹרֶף הוּא וְסָלַחְתָּ לַעֲוֹנֵנוּ וּלְחַטָּאתֵנוּ וּנְחַלְתָּנוּ׃ |

| 10 | καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τίθημί σοι διαθήκην· ἐνώπιον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ σου ποιήσω ἔνδοξα, ἃ οὐ γέγονεν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ καὶ ἐν παντὶ ἔθνει, καὶ ὄψεται πᾶς ὁ λαός, ἐν οἷς εἶ σύ, τὰ ἔργα κυρίου ὅτι θαυμαστά ἐστιν ἃ ἐγὼ ποιήσω σοι. |
And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I establish a covenant for you in the presence of all your people; I will do glorious things, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the works of the Lord, that they are wonderful, which I will do for you. | The renewal of the Covenant. | 11 | πρόσεχε σὺ πάντα, ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι. ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκβάλλω πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν τὸν Αμορραῖον καὶ Χαναναῖον καὶ Χετταῖον καὶ Φερεζαῖον καὶ Ευαῖον καὶ Γεργεσαῖον καὶ Ιεβουσαῖον· |
Do you take heed to all things whatsoever I command you: behold, I cast out before your face the Amorite and the Chananite and the Pherezite, and the Chettite, and Evite, and Gergesite and Jebusite: | | "Observe what I command you this day. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Per'izzites, the Hivites, and the Jeb'usites. | שְׁמָר־לְךָ אֵת אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיֹּום הִנְנִי גֹרֵשׁ מִפָּנֶיךָ אֶת־הָאֱמֹרִי וְהַכְּנַעֲנִי וְהַחִתִּי וְהַפְּרִזִּי וְהַחִוִּי וְהַיְבוּסִי׃ |

| 12 | πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ, μήποτε θῇς διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύῃ εἰς αὐτήν, μή σοι γένηται πρόσκομμα ἐν ὑμῖν. |
take heed to yourself, lest at any time you make a covenant with the dwellers on the land, into which you are entering, lest it be to you a stumbling-block among you. | | Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither you go, lest it become a snare in the midst of you. | הִשָּׁמֶר לְךָ פֶּן־תִּכְרֹת בְּרִית לְיֹושֵׁב הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה בָּא עָלֶיהָ פֶּן־יִהְיֶה לְמֹוקֵשׁ בְּקִרְבֶּךָ׃ |

| 13 | τοὺς βωμοὺς αὐτῶν καθελεῖτε καὶ τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν συντρίψετε καὶ τὰ ἄλση αὐτῶν ἐκκόψετε καὶ τὰ γλυπτὰ τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν κατακαύσετε ἐν πυρί. |
Ye shall destroy their altars, and break in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their groves, and the graven images of their gods you shall burn with fire. | | You shall tear down their altars, and break their pillars, and cut down their Ashe'rim | כִּי אֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתָם תִּתֹּצוּן וְאֶת־מַצֵּבֹתָם תְּשַׁבֵּרוּן וְאֶת־אֲשֵׁרָיו תִּכְרֹתוּן׃ |

| 14 | οὐ γὰρ μὴ προσκυνήσητε θεῷ ἑτέρῳ· ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ζηλωτὸν ὄνομα, θεὸς ζηλωτής ἐστιν. |
For you shall not worship strange gods, for the Lord God, a jealous name, is a jealous God; | | (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), | כִּי לֹא תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לְאֵל אַחֵר כִּי יְהוָה קַנָּא שְׁמֹו אֵל קַנָּא הוּא׃ |

| 15 | μήποτε θῇς διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις πρὸς ἀλλοφύλους ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν καὶ θύσωσι τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ καλέσωσίν σε καὶ φάγῃς τῶν θυμάτων αὐτῶν, |
lest at any time you make a covenant with the dwellers on the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and they call you, and you should eat of their feasts, | | lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they play the harlot after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and one invites you, you eat of his sacrifice, | פֶּן־תִּכְרֹת בְּרִית לְיֹושֵׁב הָאָרֶץ וְזָנוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵיהֶם וְזָבְחוּ לֵאלֹהֵיהֶם וְקָרָא לְךָ וְאָכַלְתָּ מִזִּבְחֹו׃ |

| 16 | καὶ λάβῃς τῶν θυγατέρων αὐτῶν τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ τῶν θυγατέρων σου δῷς τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν αἱ θυγατέρες σου ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν τοὺς υἱούς σου ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν. |
and you should take of their daughters to your sons, and you should give of your daughters to their sons; and your daughters should go a whoring after their gods, and your sons should go a whoring after their gods. | | and you take of their daughters for your sons, and their daughters play the harlot after their gods and make your sons play the harlot after their gods. | וְלָקַחְתָּ מִבְּנֹתָיו לְבָנֶיךָ וְזָנוּ בְנֹתָיו אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵיהֶן וְהִזְנוּ אֶת־בָּנֶיךָ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵיהֶן׃ |

| 17 | καὶ θεοὺς χωνευτοὺς οὐ ποιήσεις σεαυτῷ. |
And you shall not make to yourself molten gods. | | "You shall make for yourself no molten gods. | אֱלֹהֵי מַסֵּכָה לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה־לָּךְ׃ |

| 18 | καὶ τὴν ἑορτὴν τῶν ἀζύμων φυλάξῃ· ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας φάγῃ ἄζυμα, καθάπερ ἐντέταλμαί σοι, εἰς τὸν καιρὸν ἐν μηνὶ τῶν νέων· ἐν γὰρ μηνὶ τῶν νέων ἐξῆλθες ἐξ Αἰγύπτου. |
And you shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: seven days shall you eat unleavened bread, as I have charged you, at the season in the month of new [corn]; for in the month of new [corn] you came out from Egypt. | | "The feast of unleavened bread you shall keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt. | אֶת־חַג הַמַּצֹּות תִּשְׁמֹר שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תֹּאכַל מַצֹּות אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִךָ לְמֹועֵד חֹדֶשׁ הָאָבִיב כִּי בְּחֹדֶשׁ הָאָבִיב יָצָאתָ מִמִּצְרָיִם׃ |

| 19 | πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἐμοί, τὰ ἀρσενικά, πρωτότοκον μόσχου καὶ πρωτότοκον προβάτου. |
The males [are] mine, everything that opens the womb; every first-born of oxen, and [every] first-born of sheep. | | All that opens the womb is mine, all your male cattle, the firstlings of cow and sheep. | כָּל־פֶּטֶר רֶחֶם לִי וְכָל־מִקְנְךָ תִּזָּכָר פֶּטֶר שֹׁור וָשֶׂה׃ |

| 20 | καὶ πρωτότοκον ὑποζυγίου λυτρώσῃ προβάτῳ· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρώσῃ αὐτό, τιμὴν δώσεις. πᾶν πρωτότοκον τῶν υἱῶν σου λυτρώσῃ. οὐκ ὀφθήσῃ ἐνώπιόν μου κενός. |
And the first-born of an ass you shall redeem with a sheep, and if you will not redeem it you shall pay a price: every first-born of your sons shall you redeem: you shall not appear before me empty. | | The firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. All the first-born of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty. | וּפֶטֶר חֲמֹור תִּפְדֶּה בְשֶׂה וְאִם־לֹא תִפְדֶּה וַעֲרַפְתֹּו כֹּל בְּכֹור בָּנֶיךָ תִּפְדֶּה וְלֹא־יֵרָאוּ פָנַי רֵיקָם׃ |

| 21 | ἓξ ἡμέρας ἐργᾷ, τῇ δὲ ἑβδόμῃ καταπαύσεις· τῷ σπόρῳ καὶ τῷ ἀμήτῳ καταπαύσεις. |
Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: [there shall be] rest in seed-time and harvest. | | "Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing time and in harvest you shall rest. | שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תַּעֲבֹד וּבַיֹּום הַשְּׁבִיעִי תִּשְׁבֹּת בֶּחָרִישׁ וּבַקָּצִיר תִּשְׁבֹּת׃ |

| 22 | καὶ ἑορτὴν ἑβδομάδων ποιήσεις μοι ἀρχὴν θερισμοῦ πυρῶν καὶ ἑορτὴν συναγωγῆς μεσοῦντος τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ. |
And you shall keep to me the feast of weeks, the beginning of wheat-harvest; and the feast of ingathering in the middle of the year. | | And you shall observe the feast of weeks, the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end. | וְחַג שָׁבֻעֹת תַּעֲשֶׂה לְךָ בִּכּוּרֵי קְצִיר חִטִּים וְחַג הָאָסִיף תְּקוּפַת הַשָּׁנָה׃ |

| 23 | τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ὀφθήσεται πᾶν ἀρσενικόν σου ἐνώπιον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ Ισραηλ· |
Three times in the year shall every male of your appear before the Lord the God of Israel. | | Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel. | שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה יֵרָאֶה כָּל־זְכוּרְךָ אֶת־פְּנֵי הָאָדֹן יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |

| 24 | ὅταν γὰρ ἐκβάλω τὰ ἔθνη πρὸ προσώπου σου καὶ πλατύνω τὰ ὅριά σου, οὐκ ἐπιθυμήσει οὐδεὶς τῆς γῆς σου, ἡνίκα ἂν ἀναβαίνῃς ὀφθῆναι ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ. |
For when I shall have cast out the nations before your face, and shall have enlarged your coasts, no one shall desire your land, whenever you may go up to appear before the Lord your God, three times in the year. | | For I will cast out nations before you, and enlarge your borders; neither shall any man desire your land, when you go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year. | כִּי־אֹורִישׁ גֹּויִם מִפָּנֶיךָ וְהִרְחַבְתִּי אֶת־גְּבוּלֶךָ וְלֹא־יַחְמֹד אִישׁ אֶת־אַרְצְךָ בַּעֲלֹתְךָ לֵרָאֹות אֶת־פְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה׃ |

| 25 | οὐ σφάξεις ἐπὶ ζύμῃ αἷμα θυμιαμάτων μου. καὶ οὐ κοιμηθήσεται εἰς τὸ πρωῒ θύματα τῆς ἑορτῆς τοῦ πασχα. |
You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifices with leaven, neither shall the sacrifices of the feast of the passover remain till the morning. | | "You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left until the morning. | לֹא־תִשְׁחַט עַל־חָמֵץ דַּם־זִבְחִי וְלֹא־יָלִין לַבֹּקֶר זֶבַח חַג הַפָּסַח׃ |

| 26 | τὰ πρωτογενήματα τῆς γῆς σου θήσεις εἰς τὸν οἶκον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου. οὐ προσοίσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ. |
The first-fruits of your land shall you put into the house of the Lord your God: you shall not boil a lamb in his mother's milk. | | The first of the first fruits of your ground you shall bring to the house of the LORD your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk." | רֵאשִׁית בִּכּוּרֵי אַדְמָתְךָ תָּבִיא בֵּית יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לֹא־תְבַשֵּׁל גְּדִי בַּחֲלֵב אִמֹּו׃ ף |

| 27 | Καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Γράψον σεαυτῷ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα· ἐπὶ γὰρ τῶν λόγων τούτων τέθειμαί σοι διαθήκην καὶ τῷ Ισραηλ. |
And the Lord said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on these words I have established a covenant with you and with Israel. | | And the LORD said to Moses, "Write these words; in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel." | וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה כְּתָב־לְךָ אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה כִּי עַל־פִּי הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה כָּרַתִּי אִתְּךָ בְּרִית וְאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |

| 28 | καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ Μωϋσῆς ἐναντίον κυρίου τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας· ἄρτον οὐκ ἔφαγεν καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιεν· καὶ ἔγραψεν τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐπὶ τῶν πλακῶν τῆς διαθήκης, τοὺς δέκα λόγους. - |
And Moses was there before the Lord forty days, and forty nights; he did not eat bread, and he did not drink water; and he wrote upon the tables these words of the covenant, the ten sayings. | | And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. | וַיְהִי־שָׁם עִם־יְהוָה אַרְבָּעִים יֹום וְאַרְבָּעִים לַיְלָה לֶחֶם לֹא אָכַל וּמַיִם לֹא שָׁתָה וַיִּכְתֹּב עַל־הַלֻּחֹת אֵת דִּבְרֵי הַבְּרִית עֲשֶׂרֶת הַדְּבָרִים׃ |

| 29 | ὡς δὲ κατέβαινεν Μωϋσῆς ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους, καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες ἐπὶ τῶν χειρῶν Μωυσῆ· καταβαίνοντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους Μωϋσῆς οὐκ ᾔδει ὅτι δεδόξασται ἡ ὄψις τοῦ χρώματος τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ λαλεῖν αὐτὸν αὐτῷ. |
And when Moses went down from the mountain, [there were] the two tables in the hands of Moses,-- as then he went down from the mountain, Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him. | Moses comes down from Mount Sinai. Ex.34.29-35 | When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tables of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God. | וַיְהִי בְּרֶדֶת מֹשֶׁה מֵהַר סִינַי וּשְׁנֵי לֻחֹת הָעֵדֻת בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה בְּרִדְתֹּו מִן־הָהָר וּמֹשֶׁה לֹא־יָדַע כִּי קָרַן עֹור פָּנָיו בְּדַבְּרֹו אִתֹּו׃ |

| 30 | καὶ εἶδεν Ααρων καὶ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ τὸν Μωυσῆν καὶ ἦν δεδοξασμένη ἡ ὄψις τοῦ χρώματος τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν ἐγγίσαι αὐτοῦ. |
And Aaron and all the elders of Israel saw Moses, and the appearance of the skin of his face was made glorious, and they feared to approach him. | | And when Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. | וַיַּרְא אַהֲרֹן וְכָל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־מֹשֶׁה וְהִנֵּה קָרַן עֹור פָּנָיו וַיִּירְאוּ מִגֶּשֶׁת אֵלָיו׃ |

| 31 | καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτοὺς Μωϋσῆς, καὶ ἐπεστράφησαν πρὸς αὐτὸν Ααρων καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς συναγωγῆς, καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς Μωϋσῆς. |
And Moses called them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the synagogue turned towards him, and Moses spoke to them. | | But Moses called to them; and Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses talked with them. | וַיִּקְרָא אֲלֵהֶם מֹשֶׁה וַיָּשֻׁבוּ אֵלָיו אַהֲרֹן וְכָל־הַנְּשִׂאִים בָּעֵדָה וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה אֲלֵהֶם׃ |

| 32 | καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα προσῆλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ, καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς πάντα, ὅσα ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σινα. |
And afterwards all the children of Israel came to him, and he commanded them all things, whatsoever the Lord had commanded him in the mount of Sina. | | And afterward all the people of Israel came near, and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in Mount Sinai. | וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן נִגְּשׁוּ כָּל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְצַוֵּם אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה אִתֹּו בְּהַר סִינָי׃ |

| 33 | καὶ ἐπειδὴ κατέπαυσεν λαλῶν πρὸς αὐτούς, ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ κάλυμμα. |
And when he ceased speaking to them, he put a veil on his face. | | And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face; | וַיְכַל מֹשֶׁה מִדַּבֵּר אִתָּם וַיִּתֵּן עַל־פָּנָיו מַסְוֶה׃ |

| 34 | ἡνίκα δ' ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο Μωϋσῆς ἔναντι κυρίου λαλεῖν αὐτῷ, περιῃρεῖτο τὸ κάλυμμα ἕως τοῦ ἐκπορεύεσθαι. καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐλάλει πᾶσιν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ὅσα ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ κύριος, |
And whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak to him, he took off the veil till he went out, and he went forth and spoke to all the children of Israel whatsoever the Lord commanded him. | | but whenever Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and when he came out, and told the people of Israel what he was commanded, | וּבְבֹא מֹשֶׁה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לְדַבֵּר אִתֹּו יָסִיר אֶת־הַמַּסְוֶה עַד־צֵאתֹו וְיָצָא וְדִבֶּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵת אֲשֶׁר יְצֻוֶּה׃ |

| 35 | καὶ εἶδον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸ πρόσωπον Μωυσῆ ὅτι δεδόξασται, καὶ περιέθηκεν Μωϋσῆς κάλυμμα ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον ἑαυτοῦ, ἕως ἂν εἰσέλθῃ συλλαλεῖν αὐτῷ. |
And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that it was glorified; and Moses put the veil over his face, till he went in to speak with him. | | the people of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone; and Moses would put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him. | וְרָאוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־פְּנֵי מֹשֶׁה כִּי קָרַן עֹור פְּנֵי מֹשֶׁה וְהֵשִׁיב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַמַּסְוֶה עַל־פָּנָיו עַד־בֹּאֹו לְדַבֵּר אִתֹּו׃ ס |
