To whom do you attach yourself, or whom are you going to assist? is it not he that [has] much strength, and [he] who has a strong arm? | "How you have helped him who has no power! How you have saved the arm that has no strength!
To whom have you given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom? whom will you follow? is it not one who has the greatest power? | How you have counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
To whom have you uttered words? and whose breath is it that has come forth from you? | With whose help have you uttered words, and whose spirit has come forth from you?

Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. | Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering. |
He stretches out the north wind upon nothing, and he upon nothing hangs the earth; | He stretches out the north over the void, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
binding water in his clouds, and the cloud is not rent under it. | He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent under them.
He keeps back the face of his throne, stretching out his cloud upon it. | He covers the face of the moon, and spreads over it his cloud. |
He has encompassed the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, until the end of light and darkness. | He has described a circle upon the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.
The pillars of heaven are prostrate and astonished at his rebuke. | The pillars of heaven tremble, and are astounded at his rebuke. |

Behold, these are parts of his way; and we will listen to him at the least intimation of his word: but the strength of his thunder who knows, when he shall employ [it]? | Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways; and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?"
