55 | The women who had accompanied him from Galilee followed; they took note of the tomb and observed how his body was laid. | | Κατακολουθήσασαι δὲ αἱ γυναῖκες, αἱτινες ἦσαν συνεληλυθυῖαι ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας αὐτῷ, ἐθεάσαντο τὸ μνημεῖον καὶ ὡς ἐτέθη τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ, |

56 | Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes; and on the Sabbath they rested in obedience to the commandment. | | ὑποστρέψασαι δὲ ἡτοίμασαν ἀρώματα καὶ μύρα. Καὶ τὸ μὲν σάββατον ἡσύχασαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολήν, |
