3Pilate asked him, 'Are you the king of the Jews?' He replied, 'The words are yours.' Or: It is as you say. ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν λέγων, Σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ ἐφη, Σὺ λέγεις.
4Pilate then said to the chief priests and the crowd, 'I find no case for this man to answer.' ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ὀχλους, Οὐδὲν εὑρίσκω αἰτιον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ.
5But they insisted: 'His teaching is causing disaffection among the people all through Judaea. It started from Galilee and has spread as far as this city.'
 οἱ δὲ ἐπίσχυον λέγοντες ὅτι Ἀνασείει τὸν λαὸν διδάσκων καθ' ὁλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, καὶ ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ἑως ὧδε.
