20Early next morning, as they passed by, they saw that the fig-tree had withered from the roots up; The Lesson from the Withered Fig Tree Mk.11.20-25 (Bethany) | Mt.21.20-22καὶ παραπορευόμενοι πρωῒ εἶδον τὴν συκῆν ἐξηραμμένην ἐκ ῥιζῶν.
21and Peter, recalling what had happened, said to him, 'Rabbi, look, the fig-tree which you cursed has withered.'  καὶ ἀναμνησθεὶς ὁ Πέτρος λέγει αὐτῷ, Ῥαββί, ἰδε ἡ συκῆ ἣν κατηράσω ἐξήρανται.
22Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God.  καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτοῖς, Εἰ ἴχετε πίστιν θεοῦ,
23I tell you this: if anyone says to this mountain, "Be lifted from your place and hurled into the sea", and has no inward doubts, but believes that what he says is happening, it will be done for him. ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ὃς ἂν εἰπῃ τῷ ὀρει τούτῳ, Ἄρθητι καὶ βλήθητι εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ μὴ διακριθῇ ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ ἀλλὰ πιστεύῃ ὅτι ὃ λαλεῖ γίνεται, ἐς ται αὐτῷ.
24I tell you, then, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
 διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, πάντα ὁσα προσεύχεσθε καὶ αἰτεῖσθε, πιστεύετε ὅτι ἐλάβετε, καὶ ἐσται ὑμῖν.
