29 | A jar stood there full of sour wine; so they soaked a sponge with the wine, fixed it on a javelin, So one witness; the others read: on marjoram. and held it up to his lips. | | σκεῦος ἐκειτο ὀξους μεστόν· σπόγγον οὖν μεστὸν τοῦ ὄξους ὑσσώπῳ περιθέντες προσήνεγκαν αὐτοῦ τῷ στόματι. |
