27 leaves out of an original total of 84 of the book of Genesis, arranged in quires of 10 leaves. Illustrated above is folio 15 which contains: recto side, Gen.39.3-10 (the default view); verso side, Gen.39.10-19. Chapter 39 relates the story of Joseph after he had been brought to Egypt and sold. It begins with the episode of Joseph & Potipher's wife.
I have chosen this folio because the reading generally corresponds with that of f40v of P961.
Reading from line 8, the first full line running margin to margin
... And he committed all that he had into the hands of Joseph; and he knew not of anything that belonged to him save the bread which he himself ate. And Joseph was handsome in form and exceedingly beautiful in countenance.
Over the page, at the bottom of f15v, Potipher has returned to find his wife with part of Joseph's garment in her hand. She tells Potipher that Joseph had forced himself upon her, and when she cried out, he ran off, leaving the garment in her hand.
Gen.39.19 begins at the end of the 2nd line from the bottom:
And it came to pass when his master heard all the words of his wife that she spoke to him
