2 | Offeretisque holocaustum in odorem suavissimum Domino, vitulum de armento unum, arietem unum, et agnos anniculos immaculatos septem: |
And ye schulen offre brent sacrifice, in to swettest odour to the Lord, o calf of the droue, o ram, and seuene lambren of o yeer, with out wem; |
And you shall offer a holocaust for a most sweet odour to the Lord, one calf of the herd, one ram and seven lambs of a year old, without blemish. | |
3 | et in sacrificiis eorum, similæ oleo conspersæ tres decimas per singulos vitulos, duas decimas per arietem, |
and in the sacrificis of tho ye schulen offre thre tenthe partis of flour spreynt togidere with oile, bi ech calfe, twey tenthe partis bi a ram, |
And for their sacrifices, three tenths of flour tempered with oil to every calf, two tenths to a ram, | |
4 | unam decimam per agnum, qui simul sunt agni septem: |
o tenthe part bi a lomb, whiche togidere ben seuen lambren. |
One tenth to a lamb, which in all are seven lambs: | |
5 | et hircum pro peccato, qui offertur in expiationem populi, |
And ye schulen offre a buc of geet, which is offrid for synne, in to the clensyng of the puple, |
And a buck goat for sin, which is offered for the expiation of the people, | |
6 | præter holocaustum calendarum cum sacrificiis suis, et holocaustum sempiternum cum libationibus solitis: eisdem cæremoniis offeretis in odorem suavissimum incensum Domino. |
with out the brent sacrifice of kalendis, with hise sacrifices, and without euerlastynge brent sacrifice, with customable fletynge offryngis; and bi the same cerymonyes ye schulen offre encense in to swettiste odour to the Lord. |
Besides the holocaust of the first day of the month with the sacrifices thereof, and the perpetual holocaust with the accustomed libations. With the same ceremonies you shall offer a burnt sacrifice for a most sweet odour to the Lord. | |
