10Ecce autem egressus filius mulieris Israëlitidis, quem pepererat de viro ægyptio inter filios Israël, jurgatus est in castris cum viro Israëlita. Lo! forsothe the sone of a womman of Israel, whom sche childide of a man Egipcian, yede out among the sones of Israel, and chidde in the castels with a man of Israel, And behold there went out the son of a woman of Israel, whom she had of an Egyptian, among the children of Israel, and fell at words in the camp with a man of Israel. 11Cumque blasphemasset nomen, et maledixisset ei, adductus est ad Moysen. (Vocabatur autem mater ejus Salumith, filia Dabri de tribu Dan.) and whanne he hadde blasfemyd the name of the Lord, and hadde cursid the Lord, he was brouyt to Moises; forsothe his modir was clepid Salumyth, the douytir of Dabry, of the lynage of Dan; And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was brought to Moses: (now his mother was called Salumith, the daughter of Dabri, of the tribe of Dan:)  
12Miseruntque eum in carcerem, donec nossent quid juberet Dominus. and thei senten hym to prisoun, til thei wisten what the Lord comaundide. And they put him into prison, till they might know what the Lord would command.  
13Qui locutus est ad Moysen, And the Lord spak to Moises and seide, And the Lord spoke to Moses,  
14dicens: Educ blasphemum extra castra, et ponant omnes qui audierunt, manus suas super caput ejus, et lapidet eum populus universus. Lede out the blasfemere without the castels, and alle men that herden, sette her hondis on his heed, and al the puple stone hym. Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp, and let them that heard him, put their hands upon his head, and let all the people stone him.  
15Et ad filios Israël loqueris: Homo, qui maledixerit Deo suo, portabit peccatum suum; And thou schalt speke to the sones of Israel, A man that cursith his God, And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel: the man that curseth his God, shall bear his sin:  
16et qui blasphemaverit nomen Domini, morte moriatur: lapidibus opprimet eum omnis multitudo, sive ille civis, sive peregrinus fuerit. Qui blasphemaverit nomen Domini, morte moriatur. schal bere his synne, and he that blasfemeth the name of the Lord, die bi deeth; al the multitude of the puple schal oppresse hym with stoonus, whether he that blasfemede the name of the Lord is a citeseyn, whether a pilgrym, die he bi deeth. And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die: all the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.  
17Qui percusserit, et occiderit hominem, morte moriatur. He that smytith and sleeth a man, die bi deeth; He that striketh and killeth a man, dying let him die.  
18Qui percusserit animal, reddet vicarium, id est, animam pro anima. he that smytith a beeste, yelde oon in his stide, that is, lijf for lijf. He that killeth a beast, shall make it good, that is to say, shall give beast for beast.  
19Qui irrogaverit maculam cuilibet civium suorum, sicut fecit, sic fiet ei: If a man yyueth a wem to ony of hise citeseyns, as he dide, so be it don to him; He that giveth a blemish to any of his neighbours: as he hath done, so shall it be done to him:  
20fracturam pro fractura, oculum pro oculo, dentem pro dente restituet: qualem inflixerit maculam, talem sustinere cogetur. he schal restore brekyng for brekyng, iye for iye, tooth for tooth; what maner wem he yaf, he schal be compellid to suffre sich a wem. Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he restore. What blemish he gave, the like shall he be compelled to suffer.  
21Qui percusserit jumentum, reddet aliud. Qui percusserit hominem, punietur. He that smytith werk beeste, yeelde another; he that smytith a man, schal be punyschid. He that striketh a beast, shall render another. He that striketh a man shall be punished.  
22Æquum judicium sit inter vos, sive peregrinus, sive civis peccaverit: quia ego sum Dominus Deus vester. Euene doom be among you, whether a pilgrym ethir a citeseyn synneth, for Y am youre Lord God. Let there be equal judgment among you, whether he be a stranger, or a native that offends: because I am the Lord your God.  
23Locutusque est Moyses ad filios Israël: et eduxerunt eum, qui blasphemaverat, extra castra, ac lapidibus oppresserunt. Feceruntque filii Israël sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi. And Moyses spak to the sones of Israel, and thei brouyten forth out of the castels hym that blasfemede, and oppressiden with stoonus. And the sones of Israel diden, as the Lord comaundide to Moyses. And Moses spoke to the children of Israel: and they brought forth him that had blasphemed, without the camp, and they stoned him. And the children of Israel did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
