| 18 | Facies et labrum æneum cum basi sua ad lavandum: ponesque illud inter tabernaculum testimonii et altare. Et missa aqua, |
and seide, Also thou schalt make a greet vessil of bras with his foundement to waische, and thou schalt sette it bitwixe the tabernacle of witnessyng and the auter of brent sacrifices; and whanne watir is put therynne, |
Thou shalt make also a brazen laver with its foot, to wash in: and thou shalt set it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar. And water being put into it, | |
| 19 | lavabunt in ea Aaron et filii ejus manus suas ac pedes, |
Aaron and hise sones schulen waische therynne her hondis and feet, |
Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in it: | |
| 20 | quando ingressuri sunt tabernaculum testimonii, et quando accessuri sunt ad altare, ut offerant in eo thymiama Domino, |
whanne thei schulen entre in to the tabernacle of witnessyng, and whanne thei schulen neiye to the auter that thei offre therynne encense to the Lord, |
When they are going into the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they are to come to the altar, to offer on it incense to the Lord, | |
| 21 | ne forte moriantur; legitimum sempiternum erit ipsi, et semini ejus per successiones. |
lest perauenture thei dien; it schal be a lawful thing euerlastinge to hym and to his seed bi successiouns. |
Lest perhaps they die. It shall be an everlasting law to him, and to his seed by successions. | |
