The plagues - death of the animals. Ex.9.1-7
Quod si adhuc renuis, et retines eos, that if thou forsakist yit, and withholdist hem, lo! But if thou refuse, and withhold them still:
ecce manus mea erit super agros tuos, et super equos, et asinos, et camelos, et boves, et oves, pestis valde gravis. myn hond schal be on thi feeldis, on horsis, and assis, and camels, and oxun, and scheep, a pestilence ful greuous; Behold my hand shall be upon thy fields: and a very grievous murrain upon thy horses, and asses, and camels, and oxen, and sheep.
Et faciet Dominus mirabile inter possessiones Israël et possessiones Ægyptiorum, ut nihil omnino pereat ex eis quæ pertinent ad filios Israël. and the Lord schal make a merueilous thing bitwixe the possessiouns of Israel and the possessiouns of Egipcians, that outirli no thing perische of these thingis that perteynen to the sones of Israel. And the Lord will make a wonderful difference between the possessions of Israel and the possessions of the Egyptians, that nothing at all shall die of those things that belong to the children of Israel.
Constituitque Dominus tempus, dicens: Cras faciet Dominus verbum istud in terra. And the Lord ordeinede a tyme, and seide, To morewe the Lord schal do this word in the lond. And the Lord appointed a time, saying: Tomorrow will the Lord do this thing in the land.
Fecit ergo Dominus verbum hoc altera die: mortuaque sunt omnia animantia Ægyptiorum; de animalibus vero filiorum Israël, nihil omnino periit. Therfor the Lord made this word in the tother dai, and alle the lyuynge beestis of Egipcians weren deed; forsothe outirli no thing perischide of the beestis of the sones of Israel. The Lord therefore did this thing the next day: and all the beasts of the Egyptians died, but of the beasts of the children of Israel there died not one.
Et misit Pharao ad videndum: nec erat quidquam mortuum de his quæ possidebat Israël. Ingravatumque est cor Pharaonis, et non dimisit populum. And Farao sente to se, nether ony thing was deed of these thingis whiche Israel weldide; and the herte of Farao was maad greuouse, and he delyuerede not the puple. And Pharao sent to see: and there was not any thing dead of that which Israel possessed. And Pharao's heart was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
