15Ante fores etiam templi duas columnas, quæ triginta et quinque cubitos habebant altitudinis: porro capita earum, quinque cubitorum. Also bifor the yate of the temple he made twei pilers, that hadden fyue and thretti cubitis of heiythe; forsothe the heedis of tho weren of fyue cubitis. 16Necnon et quasi catenulas in oraculo, et superposuit eas capitibus columnarum: malogranata etiam centum, quæ catenulis interposuit. Also he made and as litle chaynes in Goddis answeryng place, and puttide tho on the heedis of the pilers; also he made an hundrid pumgarnadis, whiche he settide bitwixe the litle chaynes. He made also as it were little chains in the oracle, and he put them on the heads of the pillars: and a hundred pomegranates, which he put between the little chains.  
17Ipsas quoque columnas posuit in vestibulo templi, unam a dextris, et alteram a sinistris: eam quæ a dextris erat, vocavit Jachin: et quæ ad lævam, Booz. And he settide tho pilers in the porche of the temple, oon at the riytside, and the tother at the leftside; he clepide that that was at the riytside Jachym, and that that was at the leftside he clepide Booz. These pillars he put at the entrance of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left: that which was on the right hand, he called Jachin: and that on the left hand, Boot.
