1Anno vigesimo septimo Jeroboam regis Israël, regnavit Azarias filius Amasiæ regis Juda. In the seuenthe and twentithe yeer of Jeroboam, king of Israel, Azarie, sone of Amasie, kyng of Juda, regnede; In the seven and twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Azarias son of Amasias, king of Juda. 2Sedecim annorum erat cum regnare cœpisset, et quinquaginta duobus annis regnavit in Jerusalem: nomen matris ejus Jechelia de Jerusalem. he was of sixtene yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnede two and fifti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Jecelia of Jerusalem. He was sixteen years old, when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Jechelia of Jerusalem.  
3Fecitque quod erat placitum coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecit Amasias pater ejus. And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, bi alle thingis which Amasie, his fadir, hadde do; And he did that which was pleasing before the Lord, according to all that his father Amasias had done.  
4Verumtamen excelsa non est demolitus: adhuc populus sacrificabat, et adolebat incensum in excelsis. netheles he distriede not hiy thingis; yit the puple made sacrifice, and brente encense in hiye thingis. But the high places he did not destroy: for the people sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.  
5Percussit autem Dominus regem, et fuit leprosus usque in diem mortis suæ, et habitabat in domo libera seorsum: Joatham vero filius regis gubernabat palatium, et judicabit populum terræ. Forsothe the Lord smoot the kyng, and he was leprouse til in to the day of his deeth; and he dwellide in an hous freli bi hym silf. Sotheli Joathas, sone of the kyng, gouernde the palis, and demyde the puple of the lond. And the Lord struck the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and he dwelt in a free house apart: but Joatham the king's soil governed the palace, and judged the people of the land.  
6Reliqua autem sermonum Azariæ, et universa quæ fecit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro verborum dierum regum Juda? Forsothe the residue of the wordis of Azarie, and alle thingis whiche he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Juda? And the rest of the acts of Azarias, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?  
7Et dormivit Azarias cum patribus suis: sepelieruntque eum cum majoribus suis in civitate David, et regnavit Joatham filius ejus pro eo. And Azarie slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym with hise eldre men in the citee of Dauid; and Joathas, his sone, regnede for hym. And Azarias slept with his fathers: and they buried him with his ancestors in the city of David, and Joatham his son reigned in his stead.
