katapi HOME Luke 10:13-16 - Woes to Unrepentant Cities  Lk.10.13-16 (Judaea)- Mt.11.20-24 | NEB Contents | notes

10 13 Alas for you, Chorazin! Alas for you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented—long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 10 14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the Judgement than for you. 10 15 [ Is.14.13-15. ] And as for you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to the skies? No, brought down to the depths!

10 16 'Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the One who sent me.'
