6 12 During this time he went out one day into the hills to pray, and spent the night in prayer to God. 6 13 When day broke he called his disciples to him, and from among them he chose twelve and named them Apostles: 6 14 Simon, to whom he gave the name of Peter, and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, 6 15 Matthew and Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot, 6 16 Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot who turned traitor.
