1 9 It happened at this time that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John. 1 10 At the moment when he came up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him. 1 11 And a voice spoke from heaven: 'Thou art my Son, my Beloved; Or: Thou art my only Son. on thee my favour rests.'
