20 ¹⁷ JESUS WAS JOURNEYING towards Jerusalem, and on the way he took the Twelve aside, and said to them, 20 ¹⁸ 'We are now going to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be given up to the chief priests and the doctors of the law; they will condemn him to death 20 ¹⁹ and hand him over to the foreign power, to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised to life again.'
