7 7 'Ask, and you will receive, seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened. 7 8 For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 7 9 'Is there a man among you who will offer his son a stone when he asks for bread, 7 10 or a snake when he asks for fish? 7 11 If you, then, bad as you are, know how to give your children what is good for them, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him! 7 12 'Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the prophets.
