119 ¹⁷ Deal bountifully with your servant,
that I may live and observe your word.
119 ¹⁸ Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.
119 ¹⁹ I am a sojourner on earth;
hide not your commandments from me!
119 ²⁰ My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.
119 ²¹ You rebuke the insolent,
accursed ones, who wander from your commandments;
119 ²² take away from me their scorn and contempt,
for I have kept your testimonies.
119 ²³ Even though princes sit plotting against me,
your servant will meditate on your statutes.
119 ²⁴ Your testimonies are my delight,
they are my counselors.

revive me according to your word!

strengthen me according to your word!

and graciously teach me your law!

for your ordinances are good.

and keep your law.

for I keep your precepts.

and let me not be put to shame in my hope!

and have regard for your statutes continually!
119 ¹¹⁸ You spurn all who go astray from your statutes;
yea, their cunning is in vain.

for your law has been broken.

above fine gold.
