6 1Children, obey your parents, for it is right that you should.Children and Parents Eph.6.1-4Τὰ τέκνα, ὑπακούετε τοῖς γονεῦσιν ὑμῶν ἐν κυρίῳ, τοῦτο γάρ ἐστιν δίκαιον.
2'Honour your father and mother' is the first commandment with a promise attached, in the words:- Honor your father and mother Eph.6.2 | Ex.20.12 | Dt.15.16τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα, ἡτις ἐστὶν ἐντολὴ πρώτη ἐν ἐπαγγελίᾳ,
3'that it may be well with you and that you may live long in the land'.
 ἵνα εὖ σοι γένηται καὶ ἔσῃ μακροχρόνιος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
4You fathers, again, must not goad your children to resentment, but give them the instruction, and the correction, which belong to a Christian upbringing.
 Καὶ οἱ πατέρες, μὴ παροργίζετε τὰ τέκνα ὑμῶν, ἀλλὰ ἐκτρέφετε αὐτὰ ἐν παιδείᾳ καὶ νουθεσίᾳ κυρίου.
