43'There is no such thing as a good tree producing worthless fruit, nor yet a worthless tree producing good fruit.A Tree Known by its Fruit Lk.6.43-45 | Mt.7.17-20 | Mt.12.34b-35Οὐ γάρ ἐστιν δένδρον καλὸν ποιοῦν καρπὸν σαπρόν, οὐδὲ πάλιν δένδρον σαπρὸν ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλόν.
44For each tree is known by its own fruit: you do not gather figs from thistles, and you do not pick grapes from brambles. ἑκαστον γὰρ δένδρον ἐκ τοῦ ἰδίου καρποῦ γινώσκεται· οὐ γὰρ ἐξ ἀκανθῶν συλλέγουσιν σῦκα, οὐδὲ ἐκ βάτου σταφυλὴν τρυγῶσιν.
