1 New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

29On leaving the synagogue they went straight to the house of Simon and Andrew; and James and John went with them. Jesus heals many people Mk.1.29-34 (Capernaum) | Mt.8.14-17 | Lk.4.38-41Καὶ εὐθὺς ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς ἐξελθόντες ἦλθον εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος καὶ Ἀνδρέου μετὰ Ἰακώβου καὶ Ἰωάννου.
30Simon's mother-in-law was ill in bed with fever.
31They told him about her at once. He came forward, took her by the hand, and helped her to her feet. The fever left her and she waited upon them.
32That evening after sunset they brought to him all who were ill or possessed by devils;
33and the whole town was there, gathered at the door.
34He healed many who suffered from various diseases, and drove out many devils. He would not let the devils speak, because they knew who he was.
