31And this is another parable that he put before them: 'The kingdom of Heaven is like mustard-seed, which a man took and sowed in his field.The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Leaven Mt.13.31-33 (Plain of Gennesaret) | Mk.4.31-32 | Lk.13.18-21Ἄλλην παραβολὴν παρέθηκεν αὐτοῖς λέγων, Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃν λαβὼν ἄνθρωπος ἐσπειρεν ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ αὐτοῦ·
32As a seed, mustard is smaller than any other; but when it has grown it is bigger than any garden-plant; it becomes a tree, big enough for the birds to come and roost among its branches.'
 ὃ μικρότερον μέν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων, ὁταν δὲ αὐξηθῇ μεῖζον τῶν λαχάνων ἐστὶν καὶ γίνεται δένδρον, ὡστε ἐλθεῖν τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ κατασκηνοῦν ἐν τοῖς κλα δοις αὐτοῦ.
33He told them also this parable: 'The kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took and mixed with half a hundredweight of flour till it was all leavened.'
 Ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς· Ὁμοία ἐστὶν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ζύμῃ, ἣν λαβοῦσα γυνὴ ἐνέκρυψεν εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία ἑως οὗ ἐζυμώθη ὁλον.
