8After him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel.IBZAN, ELON, ABDON - Judges. Jdg.12.8-15וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אַחֲרָיו אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל אִבְצָן מִבֵּית לָחֶם׃
9He had thirty sons; and thirty daughters he gave in marriage outside his clan, and thirty daughters he brought in from outside for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years. וַיְהִי־לֹו שְׁלֹשִׁים בָּנִים וּשְׁלֹשִׁים בָּנֹות שִׁלַּח הַחוּצָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים בָּנֹות הֵבִיא לְבָנָיו מִן־הַחוּץ וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים׃
10Then Ibzan died, and was buried at Bethlehem. וַיָּמָת אִבְצָן וַיִּקָּבֵר בְּבֵית לָחֶם׃ ף
11After him Elon the Zebulunite judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years. Jdg.12.11-12וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אַחֲרָיו אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵילֹון הַזְּבוּלֹנִי וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל עֶשֶׂר שָׁנִים׃
12Then Elon the Zebulunite died, and was buried at Aijalon in the land of Zebulun. וַיָּמָת אֵלֹון הַזְּבוּלֹנִי וַיִּקָּבֵר בְּאַיָּלֹון בְּאֶרֶץ זְבוּלֻן׃ ף
13After him Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite judged Israel. Jdg.12.13-15וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אַחֲרָיו אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל עַבְדֹּון בֶּן־הִלֵּל הַפִּרְעָתֹונִי׃
14He had forty sons and thirty grandsons, who rode on seventy asses; and he judged Israel eight years. וַיְהִי־לֹו אַרְבָּעִים בָּנִים וּשְׁלֹשִׁים בְּנֵי בָנִים רֹכְבִים עַל־שִׁבְעִים עֲיָרִם וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל שְׁמֹנֶה שָׁנִים׃
15Then Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died, and was buried at Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, in the hill country of the Amalekites. וַיָּמָת עַבְדֹּון בֶּן־הִלֵּל הַפִּרְעָתֹונִי וַיִּקָּבֵר בְּפִרְעָתֹון בְּאֶרֶץ אֶפְרַיִם בְּהַר הָעֲמָלֵקִי׃ ף

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.

The katapi New Study Bible reference section displays links to parallel passages, and to direct quotations by New Testament authors to Old Testament passages. Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
