| 3 | After him arose Jair the Gileadite, who judged Israel twenty-two years. | JAIR - Judge. Jdg.10.3-5 | וַיָּקָם אַחֲרָיו יָאִיר הַגִּלְעָדִי וַיִּשְׁפֹּט אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁתַּיִם שָׁנָה׃ |

| 4 | And he had thirty sons who rode on thirty asses; and they had thirty cities, called Havvoth-jair to this day, which are in the land of Gilead. | | וַיְהִי־לֹו שְׁלֹשִׁים בָּנִים רֹכְבִים עַל־שְׁלֹשִׁים עֲיָרִים וּשְׁלֹשִׁים עֲיָרִים לָהֶם לָהֶם יִקְרְאוּ חַוֹּת יָאִיר עַד הַיֹּום הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר בְּאֶרֶץ הַגִּלְעָד׃ |
