| 32 | While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day. | The sabbath breakers. Nu.15.32-36 | וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בַּמִּדְבָּר וַיִּמְצְאוּ אִישׁ מְקֹשֵׁשׁ עֵצִים בְּיֹום הַשַּׁבָּת׃ |

| 33 | And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. | | וַיַּקְרִיבוּ אֹתֹו הַמֹּצְאִים אֹתֹו מְקֹשֵׁשׁ עֵצִים אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל כָּל־הָעֵדָה׃ |

| 34 | They put him in custody, because it had not been made plain what should be done to him. | | וַיַּנִּיחוּ אֹתֹו בַּמִּשְׁמָר כִּי לֹא פֹרַשׁ מַה־יֵּעָשֶׂה לֹו׃ ס |

| 35 | And Yahweh said to Moses, "The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp." | | וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה מֹות יוּמַת הָאִישׁ רָגֹום אֹתֹו בָאֲבָנִים כָּל־הָעֵדָה מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה׃ |

| 36 | And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Yahweh commanded Moses. | | וַיֹּצִיאוּ אֹתֹו כָּל־הָעֵדָה אֶל־מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה וַיִּרְגְּמוּ אֹתֹו בָּאֲבָנִים וַיָּמֹת כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃ ף |
