| 11 | In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony, | The order of march. Nu.10.11-32 | וַיְהִי בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּעֶשְׂרִים בַּחֹדֶשׁ נַעֲלָה הֶעָןָן מֵעַל מִשְׁכַּן הָעֵדֻת׃ |

| 12 | and the people of Israel set out by stages from the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud settled down in the wilderness of Paran. | | וַיִּסְעוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַסְעֵיהֶם מִמִּדְבַּר סִינָי וַיִּשְׁכֹּן הֶעָןָן בְּמִדְבַּר פָּארָן׃ |

| 13 | They set out for the first time at the command of Yahweh by Moses. | | וַיִּסְעוּ בָּרִאשֹׁנָה עַל־פִּי יְהוָה בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה׃ |
|
| 14 | The standard of the camp of the men of Judah set out first by their companies; and over their host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab. | | וַיִּסַּע דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה בְנֵי־יְהוּדָה בָּרִאשֹׁנָה לְצִבְאֹתָם וְעַל־צְבָאֹו נַחְשֹׁון בֶּן־עַמִּינָדָב׃ |

| 15 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי יִשָׂשכָר נְתַנְאֵל בֶּן־צוּעָר׃ |

| 16 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי זְבוּלֻן אֱלִיאָב בֶּן־חֵלֹון׃ |
|
| 17 | And when the tabernacle was taken down, the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who carried the tabernacle, set out. | | וְהוּרַד הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְנָסְעוּ בְנֵי־גֵרְשֹׁון וּבְנֵי מְרָרִי נֹשְׂאֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן׃ ס |

| 18 | And the standard of the camp of Reuben set out by their companies; and over their host was Elizur the son of Shedeur. | | וְנָסַע דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה רְאוּבֵן לְצִבְאֹתָם וְעַל־צְבָאֹו אֱלִיצוּר בֶּן־שְׁדֵיאוּר׃ |

| 19 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי שִׁמְעֹון שְׁלֻמִיאֵל בֶּן־צוּרִי שַׁדָּי׃ |
|
| 20 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְנֵי־גָד אֶלְיָסָף בֶּן־דְּעוּאֵל׃ |
|
| 21 | Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy things, and the tabernacle was set up before their arrival. | | וְנָסְעוּ הַקְּהָתִים נֹשְׂאֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְהֵקִימוּ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן עַד־בֹּאָם׃ ס |

| 22 | And the standard of the camp of the men of Ephraim set out by their companies; and over their host was Elishama the son of Ammihud. | | וְנָסַע דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְצִבְאֹתָם וְעַל־צְבָאֹו אֱלִישָׁמָע בֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃ |

| 23 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה גַּמְלִיאֵל בֶּן־פְּדָה־צוּר׃ |
|
| 24 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן אֲבִידָן בֶּן־גִּדְעֹונִי׃ ס |
|
| 25 | Then the standard of the camp of the men of Dan, acting as the rear guard of all the camps, set out by their companies; and over their host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. | | וְנָסַע דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה בְנֵי־דָן מְאַסֵּף לְכָל־הַמַּחֲנֹת לְצִבְאֹתָם וְעַל־צְבָאֹו אֲחִיעֶזֶר בֶּן־עַמִּישַׁדָּי׃ |

| 26 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי אָשֵׁר פַּגְעִיאֵל בֶּן־עָכְרָן׃ |
|
| 27 | And over the host of the tribe of the men of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan. | | וְעַל־צְבָא מַטֵּה בְּנֵי נַפְתָּלִי אֲחִירַע בֶּן־עֵיןָן׃ |
|
| 28 | This was the order of march of the people of Israel according to their hosts, when they set out. | | אֵלֶּה מַסְעֵי בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְצִבְאֹתָם וַיִּסָּעוּ׃ ס |
|
| 29 | And Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, "We are setting out for the place of which Yahweh said, 'I will give it to you'; come with us, and we will do you good; for Yahweh has promised good to Israel." | | וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לְחֹבָב בֶּן־רְעוּאֵל הַמִּדְיָנִי חֹתֵן מֹשֶׁה נֹסְעִים אֲנַחְנוּ אֶל־הַמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר אָמַר יְהוָה אֹתֹו אֶתֵּן לָכֶם לְכָה אִתָּנוּ וְהֵטַבְנוּ לָךְ כִּי־יְהוָה דִּבֶּר־טֹוב עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |

| 30 | But he said to him, "I will not go; I will depart to my own land and to my kindred." | | וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו לֹא אֵלֵךְ כִּי אִם־אֶל־אַרְצִי וְאֶל־מֹולַדְתִּי אֵלֵךְ׃ |
|
| 31 | And he said, "Please do not leave us, for you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you will serve as eyes for us. | | וַיֹּאמֶר אַל־נָא תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָנוּ כִּי עַל־כֵּן יָדַעְתָּ חֲנֹתֵנוּ בַּמִּדְבָּר וְהָיִיתָ לָּנוּ לְעֵינָיִם׃ |
|
| 32 | And if you go with us, whatever good Yahweh will do to us, the same will we do to you." | | וְהָיָה כִּי־תֵלֵךְ עִמָּנוּ וְהָיָה הַטֹּוב הַהוּא אֲשֶׁר יֵיטִיב יְהוָה עִמָּנוּ וְהֵטַבְנוּ לָךְ׃ |
