3 1	These are the generations of Aaron and Moses at the time when Yahweh spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.	Aaron's sons. Nu.3.1-4	וְאֵלֶּה תֹּולְדֹת אַהֲרֹן וּמֹשֶׁה בְּיֹום דִּבֶּר יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה בְּהַר סִינָי׃
2	These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the first-born, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar;		וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמֹות בְּנֵי־אַהֲרֹן הַבְּכֹור נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא אֶלְעָזָר וְאִיתָמָר׃
3	these are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whom he ordained to minister in the priest's office.		אֵלֶּה שְׁמֹות בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֲנִים הַמְּשֻׁחִים אֲשֶׁר־מִלֵּא יָדָם לְכַהֵן׃
4	But Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they offered unholy fire before Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai; and they had no children. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests in the lifetime of Aaron their father.		וַיָּמָת נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא לִפְנֵי יְהוָה בְּהַקְרִבָם אֵשׁ זָרָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה בְּמִדְבַּר סִינַי וּבָנִים לֹא־הָיוּ לָהֶם וַיְכַהֵן אֶלְעָזָר וְאִיתָמָר עַל־פְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֲבִיהֶם׃ ף

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.

Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
