| 4 1 | "For behold, the day comes, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says Yahweh of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. | The day of the LORD. Mal.4.1-6 | כִּי־הִנֵּה הַיֹּום בָּא בֹּעֵר כַּתַּנּוּר וְהָיוּ כָל־זֵדִים וְכָל־עֹשֵׂה רִשְׁעָה קַשׁ וְלִהַט אֹתָם הַיֹּום הַבָּא אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יַעֲזֹב לָהֶם שֹׁרֶשׁ וְעָנָף׃ |

| 2 | But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall. | | וְזָרְחָה לָכֶם יִרְאֵי שְׁמִי שֶׁמֶשׁ צְדָקָה וּמַרְפֵּא בִּכְנָפֶיהָ וִיצָאתֶם וּפִשְׁתֶּם כְּעֶגְלֵי מַרְבֵּק׃ |

| 3 | And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says Yahweh of hosts. | | וְעַסֹּותֶם רְשָׁעִים כִּי־יִהְיוּ אֵפֶר תַּחַת כַּפֹּות רַגְלֵיכֶם בַּיֹּום אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי עֹשֶׂה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות׃ ף |

| 4 | "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the statutes and ordinances that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. | | זִכְרוּ תֹּורַת מֹשֶׁה עַבְדִּי אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֹותֹו בְחֹרֵב עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל חֻקִּים וּמִשְׁפָּטִים׃ |

| 5 | "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes. | | הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ לָכֶם אֵת אֵלִיָּה הַנָּבִיא לִפְנֵי בֹּוא יֹום יְהוָה הַגָּדֹול וְהַנֹּורָא׃ |

| 6 | And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse." | | וְהֵשִׁיב לֵב־אָבֹות עַל־בָּנִים וְלֵב בָּנִים עַל־אֲבֹותָם פֶּן־אָבֹוא וְהִכֵּיתִי אֶת־הָאָרֶץ חֵרֶם׃ |
