| 12 | Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double. | שׁוּבוּ לְבִצָּרֹון אֲסִירֵי הַתִּקְוָה גַּם־הַיֹּום מַגִּיד מִשְׁנֶה אָשִׁיב לָךְ׃ | |
| 13 | For I have bent Judah as my bow; I have made Ephraim its arrow. I will brandish your sons, O Zion, over your sons, O Greece, and wield you like a warrior's sword. | כִּי־דָרַכְתִּי לִי יְהוּדָה קֶשֶׁת מִלֵּאתִי אֶפְרַיִם וְעֹורַרְתִּי בָנַיִךְ צִיֹּון עַל־בָּנַיִךְ יָוָן וְשַׂמְתִּיךְ כְּחֶרֶב גִּבֹּור׃ | |
| 14 | Then Yahweh will appear over them, and his arrow go forth like lightning; Yahweh GOD will sound the trumpet, and march forth in the whirlwinds of the south. | וַיהוָה עֲלֵיהֶם יֵרָאֶה וְיָצָא כַבָּרָק חִצֹּו וַאדֹנָי יְהֹוִה בַּשֹּׁופָר יִתְקָע וְהָלַךְ בְּסַעֲרֹות תֵּימָן׃ | |
| 15 | Yahweh of hosts will protect them, and they shall devour and tread down the slingers; and they shall drink their blood like wine, and be full like a bowl, drenched like the corners of the altar. | יְהוָה צְבָאֹות יָגֵן עֲלֵיהֶם וְאָכְלוּ וְכָבְשׁוּ אַבְנֵי־קֶלַע וְשָׁתוּ הָמוּ כְּמֹו־יָיִן וּמָלְאוּ כַּמִּזְרָק כְּזָוִיֹּות מִזְבֵּחַ׃ | |
| 16 | On that day Yahweh their God will save them for they are the flock of his people; for like the jewels of a crown they shall shine on his land. | וְהֹושִׁיעָם יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם בַּיֹּום הַהוּא כְּצֹאן עַמֹּו כִּי אַבְנֵי־נֵזֶר מִתְנֹוסְסֹות עַל־אַדְמָתֹו׃ | |
| 17 | Yea, how good and how fair it shall be! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maidens. | כִּי מַה־טּוּבֹו וּמַה־יָפְיֹו דָּגָן בַּחוּרִים וְתִירֹושׁ יְנֹובֵב בְּתֻלֹות׃ | |
