6	Ho! ho! Flee from the land of the north, says Yahweh; for I havespread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, says Yahweh.	The exiles are called to return. Zch.2.6-13	הֹוי הֹוי וְנֻסוּ מֵאֶרֶץ צָפֹון נְאֻם־יְהוָה כִּי כְּאַרְבַּע רוּחֹות הַשָּׁמַיִם פֵּרַשְׂתִּי אֶתְכֶם נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃
7	Ho! Escape to Zion, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.		הֹוי צִיֹּון הִמָּלְטִי יֹושֶׁבֶת בַּת־בָּבֶל׃ ס
8	For thus said Yahweh of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye:		כִּי כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאֹות אַחַר כָּבֹוד שְׁלָחַנִי אֶל־הַגֹּויִם הַשֹּׁלְלִים אֶתְכֶם כִּי הַנֹּגֵעַ בָּכֶם נֹגֵעַ בְּבָבַת עֵינֹו׃
9	"Behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me.		כִּי הִנְנִי מֵנִיף אֶת־יָדִי עֲלֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ שָׁלָל לְעַבְדֵיהֶם וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־יְהוָה צְבָאֹות שְׁלָחָנִי׃ ס
10	Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for lo, I come and I will dwell in the midst of you, says Yahweh.		רָנִּי וְשִׂמְחִי בַּת־צִיֹּון כִּי הִנְנִי־בָא וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְתֹוךֵךְ נְאֻם־יְהוָה׃
11	And many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you.		וְנִלְווּ גֹויִם רַבִּים אֶל־יְהוָה בַּיֹּום הַהוּא וְהָיוּ לִי לְעָם וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְתֹוךֵךְ וְיָדַעַתְּ כִּי־יְהוָה צְבָאֹות שְׁלָחַנִי אֵלָיִךְ׃
12	And Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land,and will again choose Jerusalem."		וְנָחַל יְהוָה אֶת־יְהוּדָה חֶלְקֹו עַל אַדְמַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וּבָחַר עֹוד בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃
13	Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.		הַס כָּל־בָּשָׂר מִפְּנֵי יְהוָה כִּי נֵעֹור מִמְּעֹון קָדְשֹׁו׃ ס

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.
The katapi New Study Bible reference section displays links to parallel passages, and to direct quotations by New Testament authors to Old Testament passages. Quotations of OT passages by NT authors can in most cases be viewed within their context of the OT passage as a whole, with the quoted text displayed, against a subdued background.
