| 7 1 | After this I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so that no wind should blow on sea or land or on any tree. | The 144,000 of Israel Sealed Re.7.1-8 | Μετὰ τοῦτο εἶδον τέσσαρας ἀγγέλους ἑστῶτας ἐπὶ τὰς τέσσαρας γωνίας τῆς γῆς, κρατοῦντας τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους τῆς γῆς, ἵνα μὴ πνέῃ ἀνεμος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς μήτε ἐπὶ τῆς θαλ άσσης μήτε ἐπὶ πᾶν δένδρον. |
| 2 | Then I saw another angel rising out of the east, carrying the seal of the living God; and he called aloud to the four angels who had been given the power to ravage land and sea: | καὶ εἶδον ἀλλον ἀγγελον ἀναβαίνοντα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῆς ἡλίου, ἐχοντα σφραγῖδα θεοῦ ζῶντος, καὶ ἐκραξεν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ τοῖς τέσσαρσιν ἀγγέλοις οἷς ἐδόθη αὐτοῖς ἀδικῆσαι τὴν γῆν καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν, | |
