| 2 | Awake, and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death, for I have not found your works perfect in the sight of my God. | γίνου γρηγορῶν, καὶ στήρισον τὰ λοιπὰ ἂ ἐμελλον ἀποθανεῖν, οὐ γὰρ εὑρηκά σου τὰ ἐργα πεπληρωμένα ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ μου· | |
| 3 | Remember then what you received and heard; keep that, and repent. If you will not awake, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you. | μνημόνευε οὖν πῶς εἰληφας καὶ ἠκουσας, καὶ τήρει, καὶ μετανόησον. ἐὰν οὖν μὴ γρηγορήσῃς, ἡξω ὡς κλέπτης, καὶ οὐ μὴ γνῷς ποίαν ὡραν ἡξω ἐπὶ σέ. | |

| 5 | He who conquers shall be clad thus in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life; I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. | ὁ νικῶν οὑτως περιβαλεῖται ἐν ἱματίοις λευκοῖς, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξαλείψω τὸ ὀνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῆς βίβλου τῆς ζωῆς, καὶ ὁμολογήσω τὸ ὀνομα αὐτοῦ ἐνώπιον τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ἐνω πιον τῶν ἀγγέλων αὐτοῦ. | |
