15 New English Bible (New Testament) Passage New Testament in Greek (UBS.Ed.26)

15 1AND NOW, MY BROTHERS. I must remind you of the gospel that I preached to you; the gospel which you received, on which you have taken your stand, and which is now bringing you salvation.
2Do you still hold fast the Gospel as I preached it to you? If not, your conversion was in vain. Or: Do you remember the terms in which I preached the Gospel to you?—for I assume you did not accept it thoughtlessly.
3First and foremost, I handed on to you the facts which had been imparted to me: that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the scriptures; 1Cor.15.3-7παρέδωκα γὰρ ὑμῖν ἐν πρώτοις, ὃ καὶ παρέλαβον, ὅτι Χριστὸς ἀπέθανεν ὑπὲρ τῶν ἀμαρτιῶν ἡμῶν κατὰ τὰς γραφάς,
4that he was buried; that he was raised to life on the third day, according to the scriptures; καὶ ὅτι ἐτάφη, καὶ ὅτι ἐγήγερται τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ κατὰ τὰς γραφάς,
5and that he appeared to Cephas, and afterwards to the Twelve.
6Then he appeared to over five hundred of our brothers at once, most of whom are still alive, though some have died.
7Then he appeared to James, and afterwards to all the apostles.
8In the end he appeared even to me. It was like an abnormal birth;
9I had persecuted the church of God and am therefore inferior to all other apostles?indeed not fit to be called an apostle.
10However, by God's grace I am what I am, nor has his grace been given to me in vain; on the contrary, in my labours I have outdone them all—not I, indeed, but the grace of God working with me.
11But what matter, I or they? This is what we all proclaim, and this is what you believed.
