14 1	As for the man who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not for disputes over opinions.	Do Not Judge Your Brother Ro.14.1-12	Τὸν δὲ ἀσθενοῦντα τῇ πίστει προσλαμβάνεσθε, μὴ εἰς διακρίσεις διαλογισμῶν.
2	One believes he may eat anything, while the weak man eats only vegetables.		ὃς μὲν πιστεύει φαγεῖν πάντα, ὁ δὲ ἀσθενῶν λάχανα ἐσθίει.
3	Let not him who eats despise him who abstains, and let not him who abstains pass judgment on him who eats; for God has welcomed him.		ὁ ἐσθίων τὸν μὴ ἐσθίοντα μὴ ἐξουθενείτω, ὁ δὲ μὴ ἐσθίων τὸν ἐσθίοντα μὴ κρινέτω, ὁ θεὸς γὰρ αὐτὸν προσελάβετο.
4	Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Master is able to make him stand.		σὺ τίς εἶ ὁ κρίνων ἀλλότριον οἰκέτην; τῷ ἰδίῳ κυρίῳ στήκει ἢ πίπτει· σταθήσεται δέ, δυνατεῖ γὰρ ὁ κύριος στῆσαι αὐτόν.
5	One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike. Let everyone be fully convinced in his own mind.		ὃς μὲν γὰρ κρίνει ἡμέραν παρ' ἡμέραν, ὃς δὲ κρίνει πᾶσαν ἡμέραν· ἑκαστος ἐν τῷ ἰδίῳ νοῒ πληροφορείσθω.
6	He who observes the day, observes it in honour of the Lord. He also who eats, eats in honour of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who abstains, abstains in honour of the Lord and gives thanks to God.		ὁ φρονῶν τὴν ἡμέραν κυρίῳ φρονεῖ· καὶ ὁ ἐσθίων κυρίῳ ἐσθίει, εὐχαριστεῖ γὰρ τῷ θεῷ· καὶ ὁ μὴ ἐσθίων κυρίῳ οὐκ ἐσθίει, καὶ εὐχαριστεῖ τῷ θεῷ.
7	None of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.		οὐδεὶς γὰρ ἡμῶν ἑαυτῷ ζῇ, καὶ οὐδεὶς ἑαυτῷ ἀποθνῄσκει.
8	If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.		ἐάν τε γὰρ ζῶμεν, τῷ κυρίῳ ζῶμεν, ἐάν τε ἀποθνῄσκωμεν, τῷ κυρίῳ ἀποθνῄσκομεν. ἐάν τε οὖν ζῶμεν ἐάν τε ἀποθνῄσκωμεν, τοῦ κυρίου ἐσμέν.
9	For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.		εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ Χριστὸς ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἐζησεν ἵνα καὶ νεκρῶν καὶ ζώντων κυριεύσῃ.
10	Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;		σὺ δὲ τί κρίνεις τὸν ἀδελφόν σοὺ ἢ καὶ σὺ τί ἐξουθενεῖς τὸν ἀδελφόν σοὺ πάντες γὰρ παραστησόμεθα τῷ βήματι τοῦ θεοῦ.
11	for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God."	- for it is written, Ro.14.11 \| Is.49.18 \| Is.45.23	γέγραπται γάρ, Zῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος, ὅτι ἐμοὶ κάμψει πᾶν γόνυ, καὶ πᾶσα γλῶσσα ἐξομολογήσεται τῷ θεῷ.
12	So each of us shall give account of himself to God.		ἀρα οὖν ἑκαστος ἡμῶν περὶ ἑαυτοῦ λόγον δώσει τῷ θεῷ.

The katapi NEW STUDY BIBLE is a very light revision of the RSV. The changes are: (1) In places where 'the LORD', 'O LORD' occurs in the RSV, (it represents the tetragrammaton - YHWH - which is in the hebrew text), I have used the name 'Yahweh'.
(2) I have removed the quotation marks and hyphens that were used in so many names in the RSV as an aid to correct pronunciation. This now brings it in line with all other English versions, and makes any word-search more accurate.
(3) I have changed all (I hope!) of the RSV archaic language sections to modern.
