| 28 | One of them, Agabus by name, was inspired to stand up and predict a severe and world-wide famine, which in fact occurred in the reign of Claudius. | | ἀναστὰς δὲ εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν ὀνόματι Ἅγαβος ἐσήμανεν διὰ τοῦ πνεύματος λιμὸν μεγάλην μέλλειν ἐσεσθαι ἐφ' ὁλην τὴν οἰκουμένην· ἡτις ἐγένετο ἐπὶ Κλαυδίου. |
