| 23 | When he had been given up to you, by the deliberate will and plan of God, you used heathen men to crucify and kill him. | τοῦτον τῇ ὡρισμένῃ βουλῇ καὶ προγνώσει τοῦ θεοῦ ἐκδοτον διὰ χειρὸς ἀνόμων προσπήξαντες ἀνείλατε, | |
| 24 | But God raised him to life again, setting him free from the pangs of death, because it could not be that death should keep him in its grip. | ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἀνέστησεν λύσας τὰς ὠδῖνας τοῦ θανάτου, καθότι οὐκ ἦν δυνατὸν κρατεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπ' αὐτοῦ· | |

| 26 | Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue spoke my joy; Moreover, my flesh shall dwell in hope, | διὰ τοῦτο ηὐφράνθη ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο ἡ γλῶσσά μου, ἔτι δὲ καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου κατασκηνώσει ἐπ' ἐλπίδι· | |
| 27 | For thou wilt not abandon my soul to death, Nor let thy loyal servant suffer corruption. | ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψεις τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς ᾅδην, οὐδὲ δώσεις τὸν ὅσιόν σου ἰδεῖν διαφθοράν. | |
| 28 | Thou hast shown me the ways of life, Thou wilt fill me with gladness by thy presence." | ἐγνώρισάς μοι ὁδοὺς ζωῆς, πληρώσεις με εὐφροσύνης μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου. | |
| 29 | 'Let me tell you plainly, my friends, that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this very day. | Ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί, ἐξὸν εἰπεῖν μετὰ παρρησίας πρὸς ὑμᾶς περὶ τοῦ πατριάρχου Δαυίδ, ὅτι καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν καὶ ἐτάφη καὶ τὸ μνῆμα αὐτοῦ ἐστιν ἐν ἡμῖν ἀχρι τῆς ἡμέρας ταύ της· | |
| 30 | It is clear therefore that he spoke as a prophet who knew that God had sworn to him that one of his own direct descendants should sit on his throne; | προφήτης οὖν ὑπάρχων, καὶ εἰδὼς ὅτι ὁρκῳ ὤμοσεν αὐτῷ ὁ θεὸς ἐκ καρποῦ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ καθίσαι ἐπὶ τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ, | |
| 31 | and when he said he was not abandoned to death, and his flesh never suffered corruption, he spoke with foreknowledge of the resurrection of the Messiah. | προϊδὼν ἐλάλησεν περὶ τῆς ἀναστάσεως τοῦ Χριστοῦ ὅτι οὔτε ἐγκατελείφθη εἰς ᾅδην | |

| 36 | Let all Israel then accept as certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.' | ἀσφαλῶς οὖν γινωσκέτω πᾶς οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ ὅτι καὶ κύριον αὐτὸν καὶ Χριστὸν ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός, τοῦτον τὸν Ἰησοῦν ὃν ὑμεῖς ἐσταυρώσατε. | |
