| 19 | And I will show portents in the sky above, and signs on the earth below-blood and fire and drifting smoke. | καὶ δώσω τέρατα ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω καὶ σημεῖα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κάτω, αἷμα καὶ πῦρ καὶ ἀτμίδα καπνοῦ· | |
| 20 | The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before that great, resplendent day, the day of the Lord, shall come. | ὁ ἥλιος μεταστραφήσεται εἰς σκότος καὶ ἡ σελήνη εἰς αἷμα πρὶν ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ. | |
| 21 | And then, everyone who invokes the name of the Lord shall be saved.'" | καὶ ἔσται πᾶς ὃς ἂν ἐπικαλέσηται τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου σωθήσεται. | |

| 24 | But God raised him to life again, setting him free from the pangs of death, because it could not be that death should keep him in its grip. | ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἀνέστησεν λύσας τὰς ὠδῖνας τοῦ θανάτου, καθότι οὐκ ἦν δυνατὸν κρατεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπ' αὐτοῦ· | |

| 26 | Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue spoke my joy; Moreover, my flesh shall dwell in hope, | διὰ τοῦτο ηὐφράνθη ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο ἡ γλῶσσά μου, ἔτι δὲ καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου κατασκηνώσει ἐπ' ἐλπίδι· | |
| 27 | For thou wilt not abandon my soul to death, Nor let thy loyal servant suffer corruption. | ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψεις τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς ᾅδην, οὐδὲ δώσεις τὸν ὅσιόν σου ἰδεῖν διαφθοράν. | |
| 28 | Thou hast shown me the ways of life, Thou wilt fill me with gladness by thy presence." | ἐγνώρισάς μοι ὁδοὺς ζωῆς, πληρώσεις με εὐφροσύνης μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου. | |
| 29 | 'Let me tell you plainly, my friends, that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this very day. | Ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί, ἐξὸν εἰπεῖν μετὰ παρρησίας πρὸς ὑμᾶς περὶ τοῦ πατριάρχου Δαυίδ, ὅτι καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν καὶ ἐτάφη καὶ τὸ μνῆμα αὐτοῦ ἐστιν ἐν ἡμῖν ἀχρι τῆς ἡμέρας ταύ της· | |

| 31 | and when he said he was not abandoned to death, and his flesh never suffered corruption, he spoke with foreknowledge of the resurrection of the Messiah. | προϊδὼν ἐλάλησεν περὶ τῆς ἀναστάσεως τοῦ Χριστοῦ ὅτι οὔτε ἐγκατελείφθη εἰς ᾅδην | |

| 35 | until I make your enemies your footstool.'" | ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου ὑποπόδιον τῶν ποδῶν σου. | |
| 36 | Let all Israel then accept as certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.' | ἀσφαλῶς οὖν γινωσκέτω πᾶς οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ ὅτι καὶ κύριον αὐτὸν καὶ Χριστὸν ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός, τοῦτον τὸν Ἰησοῦν ὃν ὑμεῖς ἐσταυρώσατε. | |

| 40 | In these and many other words he pressed his case and pleaded with them: 'Save yourselves', he said, 'from this crooked age.' | ἑτέροις τε λόγοις πλείοσιν διεμαρΤύρατο, καὶ παρεκάλει αὐτοὺς λέγων, Σώθητε ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς τῆς σκολιᾶς ταύτης. | |
| 41 | Then those who accepted his word were baptized, and some three thousand were added to their number that day. | οἱ μὲν οὖν ἀποδεξάμενοι τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἐβαπτίσθησαν, καὶ προσετέθησαν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ψυχαὶ ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιαι. | |
| 42 | They met constantly to hear the apostles teach, and to share the common life, to break bread, and to pray. | ἦσαν δὲ προσκαρτεροῦντες τῇ διδαχῇ τῶν ἀποστόλων καὶ τῇ κοινωνίᾳ, τῇ κλάσει τοῦ ἀρτου καὶ ταῖς προσευχαῖς. | |
