27 | 'Now my soul is in turmoil, and what am I to say? Father, save me from this hour. Or: turmoil. Shall I say, 'Father, save me from this hour'? 32 | And I shall draw all men to myself, when I am lifted up from the earth.' | κἀγὼ ἐὰν ὑψωθῶ ἐκ τῆς γῆς, πάντας ἑλκύσω πρὸς ἐμαυτόν. | |
33 | This he said to indicate the kind of death he was to die. | τοῦτο δὲ ἐλεγεν σημαίνων ποίῳ θανάτῳ ἠμελλεν ἀποθνῄσκειν. | |
34 | The people answered, 'Our Law teaches us that the Messiah continues for ever. What do you mean by saying that the Son of Man must be lifted up? 35 | Jesus answered them; The light is among you still, but not for long. Go on your way while you have the light, so that darkness may not overtake you. 36 | While you have the light, trust to the light, so that you may become men of light.'
