| 32 | He who comes from heaven bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his witness. | | ὃ ἑώρακεν καὶ ἠκουσεν τοῦτο μαρτυρεῖ, καὶ τὴν μαρτυρίαν αὐτοῦ οὐδεὶς λαμβάνει. |

| 33 | To accept his witness is to attest that God speaks true; | | ὁ λαβὼν αὐτοῦ τὴν μαρτυρίαν ἐσφράγισεν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἀληθής ἐστιν. |

| 36 | He who puts his faith in the Son has hold of eternal life, but he who disobeys the Son shall not see that life; God's wrath rests upon him.
| | ὁ πιστεύων εἰς τὸν υἱὸν ἐχει ζωὴν αἰώνιον· ὁ δὲ ἀπειθῶν τῷ υἱῷ οὐκ ὀψεται ζωήν, ἀλλ' ἡ ὀργὴ τοῦ θεοῦ μένει ἐπ' αὐτόν. |
