29 | For behold, the days are coming when they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck! | ὁτι ἰδοὺ ἐρχονται ἡμέραι ἐν αἷς ἐροῦσιν, Μακάριαι αἱ στεῖραι καὶ αἱ κοιλίαι αἳ οὐκ ἐγέννησαν καὶ μαστοὶ οἳ οὐκ ἐθρεψαν. | |

32 | Two others also, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. | Ἤγοντο δὲ καὶ ἑτεροι κακοῦργοι δύο σὺν αὐτῷ ἀναιρεθῆναι. | |
33 | And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. | καὶ ὅτε ἦλθον ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Κρανίον, ἐκεῖ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς κακούργους, ὃν μὲν ἐκ δεξιῶν ὃν δὲ ἐξ ἀριστερῶν. | |

36 | The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him vinegar, | ἐνέπαιξαν δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται προσερχόμενοι, ὀξος προσφέροντες αὐτῷ | |
37 | and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!" | καὶ λέγοντες, Εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων, σῶσον σεαυτόν. | |
38 | There was also an inscription over him, "This is the King of the Jews." | ἦν δὲ καὶ ἐπιγραφὴ ἐπ' αὐτῷ, Ο ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΙΟΥΔΑΙΩΝ ΟΥΤΟΣ. | |
39 | One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!" | Εἷς δὲ τῶν κρεμασθέντων κακούργων ἐβλασφήμει αὐτὸν λέγων, Οὐχὶ σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστός; σῶσον σεαυτὸν καὶ ἡμᾶς. | |
40 | But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? | ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἑτερος ἐπιτιμῶν αὐτῷ ἐφη, Οὐδὲ φοβῇ σὺ τὸν θεόν, ὅτι ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ κρίματι εἶ; | |
41 | And we indeed justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." | καὶ ἡμεῖς μὲν δικαίως, ἀξια γὰρ ὧν ἐπράξαμεν ἀπολαμβάνομεν· οὗτος δὲ οὐδὲν ἀτοπον ἐπραξεν. | |
42 | And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." | καὶ ἐλεγεν, Ἰησοῦ, μνήσθητί μου ὁταν ἐλθῃς εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν σου. | |
43 | And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." | καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ, Ἀμήν σοι λέγω, σήμερον μετ' ἐμοῦ ἐσῃ ἐν τῷ παραδείσῳ. |
